The ideological and political theory courses are key courses for fulfilling the fundamental task of cultivating people.In order to continue to fight a tough battle to improve the quality and level of ideological and political theory courses,it is necessary to adopt appropriate standards to evaluate the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses.Taking college students’ sense of gain of ideological and political theory courses as the fundamental indicator of evaluation is not only the “new goal”,“new requirements”and “new standards” of the new era,it also hits the target of the teaching reform of ideological and political theory courses.So,we conduct a questionnaire survey on undergraduate students from five different levels of universities in Sichuan Province(Sichuan University,Sichuan Agricultural University,Chengdu University of TCM,Xihua University,and Sichuan University Jincheng College),aim to analyze the the current situation and existing problems in students’ sense of gain of ideological and political theory courses,and finally put forward targeted improvement countermeasures and thinking.Firstly,we have defined the concept.College students’ sense of gain of ideological and political theory courses refers to the positive,healthy,and good psychological feelings generated by college students through the study of ideological and political theory courses and obtained true acquisition in various aspects.Starting from the generation logic of the sense of gain,the sense of gain of college students in the ideological and political theory courses can be divided into objective sense of acquisition and subjective sense of gain;among them,the objective sense of acquisition includes the sense of acquisition of college students at the epistemological and methodological levels,and the subjective sense of gain includes college students’ sense of gain of at the level of value concepts and emotional experience.Secondly,we have analyzed the status quo of college students’ sense of gain of ideological and political theory courses.At present,college students have a strong sense of overall gain of ideological and political theory courses,but they still show the characteristics of imbalance and insufficiency.There are significant differences in the sense of gain of ideological and political theory courses among college students of different colleges,grades,experience of student leaders and different political consciousness.At the specific level of each dimension,the subjective sense of gain is generally stronger than the objective sense of gain;and the sense of gain at the epistemological level is stronger than the sense of gain at the methodological level.From the "demand side" of students,college students’ "Identity" and "Interest level" of the ideological and political theory courses are the main factors which affect the sense of gain.From the "supply side" of teaching,"Teaching content","Teaching methods",and "Teaching styles" have the most significant influence on the sense of gain of college students.Finally,we have analyzed the problems and reasons that affect the generation of college students’ sense of gain,and proposed countermeasures and reflections to improve the sense of gain of college students in ideological and political theory courses.At present,there are still some problems among college students,such as "the subjective expectation and the objective acquisition are Insufficient fitted","the connections between knowledge acceptance and method application are not enough","teacher-led and student subjective balance is out of balance ";" rational cognition and sensory experience lack compatibility".The main reason is that the teaching elements have not yet satisfied the students’ cognitive,psychological,and behavioral characteristics.Therefore,we can improve from the following three aspects: one is to reform the teaching supply: to deepen the teaching content,to change the class model;the other is to guide students’ needs: to establish reasonable expectations,and to enhance the consciousness of the subject;the third is to optimize the coordination of the mechanism: to strengthen each parties coordinated,and to improve the system guarantee.
