| As an important teaching resource,history textbook illustrations have attracted more and more attention from scholars and teachers.The illustrations have been changing with the upgrading of high school history textbooks,increasing in number and rich in content.From the perspective of content,the senior high school history textbooks highlight the education in revolutionary tradition.Revolutionary tradition refers to the collection of all revolutionary activities,revolutionary theories,revolutionary experience and revolutionary spirits formed by the elder generation in the revolutionary struggles under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Because of its intuitiveness and vividness,illustrations play an important role in helping students understand the revolutionary process and carry forward the revolutionary spirits.This thesis takes the education of revolutionary tradition as the breakthrough point and expounds its connotation,analyzes the urgency of revolutionary traditional education from the perspectives of the needs of era development and current training objectives of history subject.This thesis takes the unified history textbooks for senior high school as the research object,based on previous research,makes an overall analysis of the distribution of illustrations related to revolutionary traditional education in textbooks,and classifies the relevant illustrations according to the picture content.In terms of quantity and content,this thesis makes statistics and comparison between the unified edition of the high school history textbook illustrations and the 2007 edition of PEP textbook illustrations,and explores the new changes of the unified edition of the high school history textbook illustrations:have more historical value,highlight the concepts of time and space,and reflect the modernity.This thesis analyzes that textbook illustrations have the function of cultivating students’ historical thinking ability,concepts of time and space,home and country feelings and strengthening the empirical spirit of historical materials in revolutionary traditional education.Through interviews and questionnaires,this thesis understands the current situation of teachers and students using textbook illustrations in revolutionary traditional education.In view of the problems existing in current teaching situation,puts forward the principles that teachers should follow when using textbook illustrations.This thesis provides some teaching ideas from the four aspects of "combining pictures and texts,sorting out the revolutionary process","turning difficulties into ease,clarifying revolutionary theory","describing history with pictures,telling revolutionary stories" and "creating situations,carrying forward the revolutionary spirits". |
