Pragmatics,in simple terms,refers to the construction and use of language.Oral communication teaching is one of the key teaching activities to train students to master the skill of "using the native language and characters",and it is necessary to introduce relevant and appropriate pragmatic theories.The research on oral communication teaching in junior middle school from the perspective of pragmatic theory takes "pragmatics" theory as the cornerstone and "oral communication" as the supporting framework,aiming to improve the conversational ability of junior high school students in the process of continuous construction and development.In view of a series of problems existing in the current junior high school Chinese oral communication teaching process,combined with the convergence of pragmatics and oral communication teaching,teachers can adopt the following solutions in teaching:First,clarify the subject of communication and ensure students’ discourse power,that is,create a democratic and harmonious communication atmosphere,break through the constraints of the physical environment,so that every student can maintain the dual presence of mind and body in communication;Second,standardize the content of communication and promote the effective development of dialogue,that is,grasp the rules of speech behavior,analyze the teaching content,set teaching goals,interpret the intra-language context and the extra-language context,clarify the connotation of discourse,pay attention to the principle of politeness,and standardize the expression of discourse.Implement the principle of cooperation and improve the quality of discourse;Third,attach importance to communicative evaluation and improve the effect of classroom teaching,that is,under the guidance of the principle of cooperation and politeness,improve the efficiency of conversation and improve the quality of conversation.Appropriate application of context,discourse,speech act and pragmatic principles in pragmatics in oral Chinese communication teaching in junior high school can broaden the horizons of teachers and students in oral communication teaching and enrich teaching content;guide teachers in oral communication teaching methods,promote teaching interaction,and ultimately improve junior high school students’ oral communication and verbal thinking ability,and help them better adapt to social development.
