Junior middle school is the key period for students to establish a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values.The instrumental and humanistic characteristics of Chinese subject make Chinese learning have unique implementation conditions for students’ emotional education.Chinese classroom becomes an important platform for students’ emotional education and plays an important role in students’ comprehensive and harmonious development.The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)clearly puts forward "emotion,attitude and values" in the curriculum objectives,requiring students to cultivate patriotism,collectivism,socialism and other thoughts and feelings in the teaching,so as to cultivate students to form a positive attitude towards life,and form a good personality and sound personality.Chinese teaching in junior middle school should attach importance to students’ emotional education and comprehensively improve students’ Chinese literacy.In the western county-level middle schools,especially junior middle schools,due to the influence of utilitarianism,there is a phenomenon of stressing knowledge education over emotional education.Emotional education is superficial,conceptualized and dogmatic in classroom teaching,and emotional education is seriously missing in the process of students’ learning and development.Students seldom get good emotional influence and emotional experience in Chinese learning,which leads to the imbalance between cognitive level and emotional development.In order to change this situation,we must explore effective affective education strategies in junior middle school Chinese teaching.Teachers should improve their own emotional accomplishment,make clear teaching objectives in teaching,base themselves on texts,dig deeply into emotional education materials in textbooks,optimize teaching design,establish a good communication relationship with students,and create a good atmosphere for students’ emotional education.As far as schools are concerned,we should establish a diversified evaluation system and attach importance to the evaluation of emotional education of teachers and students,so as to further enrich students’ emotional education and make their personality and personality development more healthy.
