| The goal of model thought teaching in junior middle school is to cultivate students’ ability to abstract mathematical models from real life or specific situations.In this process,teachers should help students to experience the relationship between mathematics and the external world,and master mathematical thinking methods,and cultivate students’ subject consciousness,and stimulate students’ subjective initiative and thirst for knowledge.The key point of the model thought teaching is to train students to use mathematical symbols,mathematical formulas,procedures and graphics to describe the essential attributes of problems in specific mathematical situations.It not only requires students to deeply observe and analyze practical problems,but also requires students to make flexible and clever use of various mathematical knowledge.In which requires students to have good thinking ability,especially abstract thinking ability.Junior middle school students generally have good action thinking and image thinking ability,and also have certain abstract thinking ability.Therefore,in the teaching of mathematical model thought,we need to make full use of students’ thinking ability to achieve their teaching purpose.The main goal of "graphics and geometry" teaching in junior middle school is to let students feel the role of symbols and geometric intuition.In the process of studying the nature and movement of graphics and determining the position of objects,teachers should help students to further develop the concept of space and establish geometric intuition.For students,this learning process not only can train their specific objects of intuitive action thinking,but also can train their mathematical concepts and mathematical theorems of image thinking and abstract thinking.In fact,mining and applying the model ideas in the graphics and geometry part to teaching is not only can conducive to students’ mastering the mathematical knowledge,but also can conducive to exercising and improving students’ intuitive imagination ability,image thinking and abstract thinking ability,and improving students’ subject literacy.This paper mainly studies the teaching application of model thought in "graphics and geometry" in junior middle school,mainly from the analysis of the content of graphics and geometry teaching materials,the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the application of model thought in "graphics and geometry" teaching in middle school,and the specific teaching design and teaching demonstration.The specific research plans are as follows.We first take the class from grade one to grade three in a middle school in Wanzhou,Chongqing as an example.Then we investigate the students’ understanding and application of the model thinking in "graphics and geometry".We also study the teachers’ current situation in the application of the model thinking of graphics and geometry,and analyze the problems existing in the teaching and learning of graphics and geometry,give out solutions to better plan.Combined with the corresponding teaching theory,Put forward the teaching strategy of "graphics and geometry" with the model thought and the principles and framework of instructional design,and integrate this into the relevant teaching design,and then verify through teaching practice,Finally,the research conclusions and prospects are drawn.The research results obtained are expected to some references for junior middle school mathematics teachers to integrate the idea of model into the teaching of "graphics and geometry". |
