Reading ability is the core of learning ability,is the most important in Chinese reading teaching.The cultivation of reading ability is not only helpful to the improvement of students’ own quality,but also can help students meet the needs of social development and promote students’ lifelong development.The enhancement of individual reading ability can drive the development of society.As the key period of education,it is more important to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ reading ability.At present,scholars in China have conducted extensive research on the cultivation of junior middle school students’ Chinese reading ability.To a certain extent,they have provided practical strategies for the development of students’ reading ability and promoted the improvement of their reading ability,but there are still shortcomings.Most researchers ignore the stage characteristics of student development,which weakens the feasibility of the research.The new curriculum clearly points out that the physical and mental development of students has the characteristics of stages.Teachers are required to choose appropriate teaching strategies according to the development characteristics of students.In view of this,the development characteristics of different grades of junior middle school students should be paid attention to,and the research on the development of junior high school students’ Chinese reading ability should be further deepened.The phased training of reading ability refers to that in the process of reading teaching,teachers formulate the training objectives of phased reading ability according to the phased development characteristics of students and the hierarchical structure of reading ability,carry out reading teaching purposefully and systematically,and gradually improve students ’ reading ability.At present,there are a series of problems in the cultivation of junior middle school students ’ Chinese reading ability due to the lack of stage.In view of these problems,teachers can take the " stage cultivation " as the guiding concept and adopt the following strategies : Firstly,based on the " curriculum standard," under the guidance of the overall goal and the reading goal of the fourth semester,clarify the stage goal of reading teaching in different grades of junior middle school,and enhance the pertinence of teaching objectives;second,based on the characteristics of students ’ development and development needs,highlighting the different grades of reading ability stage focus,so that reading teaching and student development to adapt;third,based on the overall development of reading ability,according to the level structure of reading ability itself,strengthen the cultivation of hierarchical reading ability,promote the orderly development of reading teaching,ensure that students ’ reading ability is gradually improved.The phased cultivation of reading ability does not completely separate reading ability,but focuses on different levels.The main purpose is to strengthen the pertinence of reading teaching objectives,highlight the focus of reading teaching in different stages,clarify the hierarchy of reading teaching process,and finally promote the orderly improvement of students ’ reading ability.
