Research On The Cultivation Of Awe Consciousness Of College Students From The Perspective Of Confucianism

With the advent of the era of science and technology,human subjectivity is gradually enhanced,but it is also constantly impacted by multi-culture,and negative emotions such as selfishness,greediness,and voidness are also present.In this environment,the sense of awe of social members has become a necessary requirement to ensure the harmonious and stable development of society.However,some young college students are easily affected by the bad social atmosphere in the complicated social environment,and are prone to have a "fearless" mental state,and then make non-compliant behavior such as ignoring social rules,violating social morality,harming lives,and trampling on nature.It can be seen that the cultivation of college students’ sense of awe in today’s society is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the cultural heritage of our country,Confucianism contains rich ideas of awe.It mainly summarizes the Confucian reverence consciousness of life reverence thought of " Cherish life and persuade to make a difference ",rule reverence thought of "knowing propriety and abiding by the law",moral reverence thought of " Have a sense of shame and pursue perfection",and "harmony between man and nature",and the paper clarified the relationship between Confucianism and the cultivation of the sense of awe in college students.Combined with the current situation of the lack of awe consciousness of college students,it is further demonstrated that the Confucian awe thought is integrated into the cultivation of college students’ awe consciousness is of great significance for promoting the all-round development of college students and maintaining social stability.Finally,based on the analysis of the reasons for the lack of college students’ sense of awe and the significance of integrating Confucianism into the cultivation of sense of awe,this paper proposes a training path with social,school,family,and personal aspects as the starting point,in order to comprehensively promote the effect of cultivation of college students’ sense of awe.
