| The cultivation of college students’ critical thinking ability has gradually become an important topic of concern to scholars at home and abroad in recent years. Many colleges and universities have established relevant courses and adopted integrated teaching methods to cultivate students’ critical thinking.Collaborative learning has been proved to be effective in improving the critical thinking of college students, and problem-based inquiry learning can help learners to think critically to a certain extent. The focus of this research is to construct a relationship model of the elements of collaborative problem-based inquiry learning activities by extracting the elements of collaborative learning and problem-based inquiry learning, using the explanatory structural model method;Integrate critical thinking elements into the process of critical thinking development, and build a pyramid model of critical thinking development elements;through the analysis of learners’ critical thinking development under collaborative problem exploration, build a ladder-type critical thinking development model, and finally Integrate the above models to build a critical thinking development model based on collaborative problem inquiry. On this basis,a design-based research paradigm was adopted, with third-year undergraduates as the research objects, and two rounds of quasi-experimental research were carried out in one semester. The model was revised, and finally,at the end of the second round of experiments, the validity of the model and activity design was verified by measuring and analyzing learners’ critical thinking tendencies and critical thinking skills. The key questions addressed in this study are: first, what dimensions of critical thinking have changed after learners through collaborative question inquiry learning;second, what factors in collaborative question inquiry learning affect learners’ critical thinking development of thinking.Through the analysis of the experimental data, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The critical thinking development model constructed based on collaborative problem inquiry has no effect on the development of learners’ critical thinking or the development of group critical thinking.(2)Through collaborative problem-based inquiry learning activities, students’ clarity, connection of ideas, rationality, critical comment, and breadth of understanding have been significantly improved;(3)Collaborative questions The effective distribution of the roles of group members in inquiry learning activities and the effective supervision of teachers will affect the development of students’ critical thinking.Group members have a clear division of labor and perform their own duties, which is more conducive to collaborative learning and the development of critical thinking. |
