Research On The Influence Of Privacy Risk Perception On College Students’ Willingness To Use Social APP

With the rapid development of the Internet and the expansion of the use area of mobile terminal equipment,people’s living standards are also improving.At the same time,the use scope and types of social media are also gradually expanding.The report of China Internet Network Information Center in 2022 shows that China’s social media represented by timely communication is still showing a growing trend.Due to their age and identity,college students are the main force in using social apps,which are characterized by a wide range of social apps,strong participation and high degree of dependence.The development of things is often accompanied by problems,we can feel the social APP bring convenience to the life,also found that the produced some problems cannot be ignored,which the user privacy is one of the most worrying problem,more and more studies show that users for privacy risk perception will affect their willingness to use social APP.In this context,this paper starts from the actual situation,to study the privacy risk perception and dimensions of college students in the process of using social apps,and analyze the impact of each dimension and overall privacy risk perception on the willingness of college students to use social APP.Finally,it proposes suggestions for social platforms and the government to reduce the privacy risk perception of college students and improve their willingness to use,and also puts forward suggestions for college students on how to better protect personal privacy while using social APPs,and how schools can further improve college students’ personal protection.Recommendations for privacy capabilities.After literature analysis,small-scale interviews and empirical analysis,this paper concludes that the privacy risk perception of college students using social APPs is composed of five dimensions: privacy leakage perception,illegal processing of privacy,illegal use of privacy,trust and control.Then,the data collected by the questionnaire was analyzed to verify the impact of various dimensions of privacy risk perception on the willingness of college students to use social APPs,and to put forward corresponding suggestions for related issues.
