As an important part of initial teachers’ induction education,school-based training for beginning teachers can improve their educational theories and practical teaching skills,help them successfully pass the initial stage of professional growth,shorten the adaptation period,and play a decisive role in their future professional development.How to reasonably carry out school-based training for beginning teachers is not only related to the consistency and continuity of beginning teachers’ professional development,but also to the quality and vitality of a country’s educational development.However,from the present perspective,school-based training for beginning teachers in China has not yet received widespread attention and its implementation has not been effective enough.Therefore,through the survey of elementary school X in Tumen,the author hopes to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation of school-based training for beginning teachers in elementary school X in Tumen,and propose solutions to the existing problems to provide reference for the subsequent study.In this study,the current situation of school-based training for elementary school teachers in Tumen X was investigated and analyzed in terms of training objectives,training contents,training forms,training evaluation,and training systems by using literature,questionnaires,and interviews,and the following conclusions were drawn.First,the overall situation of school-based training for new primary school teachers in Tumen is in general.The problems are as follows:There is a lack of targeted and layered objectives in training;the content of training is not practical;the form of training is not diversified and innovative;the evaluation mode of training tends to be superficial;and the training management system needs to be improved.Secondly,school-level and teacher-level have obvious influence on the school-based training of primary school beginning teachers.The problems at the school level are: the attention of the school leaders is not enough;the school should reduce the work burden of the first-time teachers and create a favorable environment for the professional development of the first-time teachers.The existing problems at the level of teachers are as follows: first-time teachers do not have a comprehensive understanding of school-based training;Improve the guidance ability of teachers,improve the teaching system.In order to make the school-based training for beginning teachers more effective,the following recommendations are made in response to the above problems.1.clarify training objectives and improve training effectiveness.2.understand needs and improve the relevance of training content.3.improve the traditional banding system,enrich training forms and broaden training resource channels.4.improve a sound evaluation mechanism for school-based training for beginning teachers.5.continue to take advantage of the school-based training operation mechanism and further refine and improve the school-based training management system.
