Based on the research background that the development of the new era demands high-quality talents,the curriculum standard demands the integration of "teaching,learning and evaluation",and the students’ learning mode changes from memorization to comprehension,this paper proposes the reverse teaching design of high school chemistry unit based on UbD theory.In order to promote the change of students’ learning mode,improve students’ disciplinary accomplishment,and provide new ideas for the reverse teaching design of high school chemistry unit.This study uses literature research method to understand the current research status of UbD theory,unit instructional design and reverse instructional design at home and abroad.Under the guidance of constructivism learning theory,Bloom classification theory and Aussupor’s meaningful learning theory,this paper uses the investigation method to understand students’ current learning attitudes and common learning methods in chemistry class,and uses the interview method to understand teachers’ current teaching design process.Aimed at the problems existing in the student questionnaire and teacher interview,this study from the perspective of the entire unit teaching design,the theory of UbD with the concept of "teaching for understanding",the restructuring the entire cell content integration,the systematic design and rationalization of the class hour,build unit based on the theory of the UbD reverse teaching design pattern.In class teaching on the basis of the theory of UbD in "understanding the six sides" to understand the dimensions of knowledge,to GRASPS architecture expressive tasks for evaluating evidence,using WHERETO elements to encode the teaching activities,creating real learning situations,the pursuit of the depth of the student to the knowledge understanding,promotes the student to the knowledge migration application ability.Based on the above theoretical research,taking unit 3 of High school Chemistry(Elective 4)"Ion balance in Aqueous Solution" as the practice unit,we carried out unit teaching reverse design and class teaching design,and carried out teaching practice in two parallel classes of grade 2 in a high school in Guyuan city,Ningxia.After the practice,quantitative evaluation of the practice results was made through the students’ class hour comprehension dimension examination paper,unit test paper and teacher interview,and finally the research results were summarized.Research results show that the unit based on the theory of the UbD reverse in the design of teaching understanding can effectively promote students’ learning and migration application,with a better understanding of the unit teaching reverse design to further promote "the goal,evaluation,and teaching activities the integration of teaching design optimization,on the basis of the combination of these two work together to promote students to change the way of learning,The students’ independent innovation ability and dialectical thinking ability are also improved obviously,indicating that the unit reverse teaching design based on UbD theory has a certain degree of application value in high school chemistry teaching.
