Regional cognition is one of the four core competencies of geography.Strengthening the research on the examination and training of regional cognition is an important guarantee for geography to play its unique educational value.The idea of “comprehensively implementing the Party’s educational policy,closely following the fundamental task of morality and cultivating people,and fundamentally deepening education reform”was fully implemented in the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reforms hosted by the Central Committee.As a hot spot of research,the geography questions of the college entrance examination have always been widely concerned by educational scholars.Most of the existing studies have discussed the characteristics of the formation of the geography questions of the college entrance examination,as well as the question type,structure and difficulty of the questions.The geography questions of the college entrance examination based on regional cognitive ability,analytical studies are relatively rare.This paper explores the characteristics of regional cognitive ability in the geography examination questions of the college entrance examination,and puts forward teaching strategies and suggestions for the cultivation of regional cognitive ability,which will help to promote the formation of high school students’ regional cognitive literacy,and provide certain theories for the reform and development of basic education.refer to.Based on constructivism theory,cognitive learning theory and multiple intelligences theory,this paper uses literature research method,statistical analysis method and case study method to analyze the National Geography Vol.2018-2021.The examination issue of regional cognitive ability in the middle school entrance examination are analyzed in detail,and the characteristics of regional cognitive ability are summarized and relevant teaching strategies and suggestions are put forward on this basis.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows: The characteristics of the regional cognitive ability test in the 2018-2021 Geography National Paper are mainly reflected in:(1)The test content of the questions: The test questions cover a wide range of knowledge and focus on comprehensive analysis capabilities.Among them,physical geography and the proportion of human geography content examination has a significant advantage over the content of regional sustainable development.(2)In terms of the examination scale of the test questions:Small-scale,medium-scale,and large-scale,three regional scales are all involved in the test questions.There are significant differences in the regional scale examinations,and the test questions focus on examining the large background through small-scale areas.(3)In terms of the presentation form of the test questions: the combination of pictures and texts is the main position of the regional cognitive ability test,which fully demonstrates the geographical feature of “no picture,no problem”,among which the regional map and geographical schematic diagram are the most frequently tested.(4)The examination level of the test questions: There are obvious differences in the level of the regional cognitive examination,and level 3 is the main difficulty level of the examination.Based on the examination characteristics of regional cognitive ability in the college entrance examination questions,the following teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)Strengthen the geographical knowledge reserve of high school students and build an internal knowledge structure.In geography teaching,attention should be paid to the consolidation of students’ basic knowledge.Teachers need to integrate the knowledge points covered by middle school geography courses to form a knowledge system to optimize students’ ability to analyze regional elements and promote students to complete the self-construction of the regional cognitive system.(2)Cultivate students’ thinking and ability of scale division.In geography teaching,attention should be paid to cultivating students’ thinking and ability of spatial scale division,and then guide students to develop the ability to analyze the big background from the perspective of small-scale areas.(3)Cultivate and standardize the reading habit of students and improve their ability to analyze pictures.In high school geography teaching,students should develop the habit of reading pictures based on the daily,classroom and after-school perspectives.In the classroom teaching process,attention should be paid to the use of geographic images,and the analysis and training of regional maps and geographic schematic diagrams should be strengthened to improve students’ ability to read and analyze maps,thereby improving the level of students’ regional cognitive ability. |
