| With the deepening of the new round of geography curriculum reform,geography experiments have been paid more and more attention by the educational circles.In the "Geography Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020Revision)",it is mentioned that geographic experiments are an important learning method for geographic courses,and students are encouraged to obtain geographic information through geographic experiments.in accordance with.As one of the teaching methods vigorously promoted by the new curriculum reform,inquiry-based teaching plays an important role in cultivating students’ innovative thinking and scientific inquiry spirit.This research attempts to apply the inquiry-based teaching method to the experimental teaching of physical geography in high school,in order to cultivate students’ interest in exploring and innovating in experiments,and improve students’ ability to discover problems and use experiments to solve them.This research mainly focuses on constructing the inquiry-based teaching process of physical geography experiment.Firstly,the research progress and concept discussion of inquiry-based teaching and geography experiments at home and abroad are sorted out by literature method;secondly,the current situation of high school students and front-line geography teachers is investigated by questionnaire survey and interview method,and it is found that there are still teachers who will Cultivating students’ geographic practice ability is equivalent to cultivating students’ hands-on operation ability.In the process of experiment,only focus on students’ hands-on operation and ignore problems such as making students use their brains to think.Thirdly,according to the problems existing in the current situation and combined with teaching practice,a physical geography is designed.Experimental inquiry teaching process.The teaching process consists of four stages and six teaching links.Among them,the four stages of "experimental preparation,experimental design,experimental operation,and experimental summary" correspond to the experimental links to ensure the integrity and scientificity of the experiment;The six teaching links of independent/cooperative inquiry,evaluation of exchange results,transfer and application improvement” correspond to the inquiry-based teaching process,and the “right of inquiry” of the experiment is handed over to students to guide students to think independently and explore independently;finally,the above teaching process is conduct the empirical research.This paper sorts out 15 exploratory physical geography experiments,and selects 9 of them to carry out teaching practice.the improvement rate is generally greater than that of the control class,thus confirming the effectiveness of the teaching process.This study designs the inquiry-based teaching process of physical geography experiments,in order to provide reference for front-line geography teachers to carry out experimental teaching,improve the current experimental teaching status,and improve students’ experimental inquiry ability and innovation ability. |
