This article uses the data of migrant population aged 16-30 in the 2017 National Migrant Population Dynamic Monitoring Survey, and constructs a four-dimensional social integration index of cultural and psychological integration, social security integration, social relationship integration, and economic and identity integration through the method of normalization and factor analysis to reflect the social integration status of youth migrant population as comprehensively and scientifically as possible. The main research of this article has the following three points:first, the study will grasp the situation of the youth migrant population in terms of its demographic characteristics, mobility characteristics and employment characteristics, and form a scientific understanding of the youth migration as a whole.Second,it will form a system of social integration indicators to grasp the social integration of the youth migration.Third,to grasp the basic situation of social stratification of the youth migration and analyze the relationship between social stratification and social integration of the youth migration.Through the study of these issues,we provide the basis for the improvement and development of the management and support mechanism of the migrants. The results of the study found that:(1)about the demographic characteristics of the youth migration. The average age of the youth migration is 27.74 years old, predominantly married females in agricultural households, with education level mainly at junior high school, dominated by youth migration of Han ethnic group, with Hui and Zhuang ethnic minorities predominating. As far as the labor market is concerned, the average working hours of the youth migration are long, and the employment rate of males is significantly higher than that of females;the income gap is large, rental housing is predominant, and the coverage rate of guaranteed housing is not high;employees and self-employed workers are in the majority, and the proportion of those employed in positions with high professional and technical requirements is not high.(2)Regarding the class characteristics of the youth migration. The professional administrative class has a significantly higher level of education than other classes, the shortest average weekly working hours, and higher wage income. The highest proportion of the population in the unemployed class and the small employer class is married, and the lowest proportion of the population in the general white-collar class is married.Different strata have different preferences for migration. The general white-collar class, the small-employer class, and the working class all tend to migrate long distances across provinces, while the professional administrative class and the unemployed class are relatively even, and the peasant class mainly tends to migrate short distances across cities and counties within the province.(3)Regarding the impact of social stratification on the social integration of the youth migration. The youth migration is in a semi-integrated state in general, and the influence of flow and migration factors on the social integration status of the youth migration is more significant than that of demographic factors. The internal differences in social integration between the professional administrative class and the peasant class are not significant, and the internal heterogeneity of social integration between the small employer class and the unemployed class is large. The professional administrative class identifies significantly higher than other classes on objective indicators, but scores poorly on psychological and cultural integration factors involving subjective indicators, and psychological and cultural integration is more difficult for higher classes.Accordingly, the following policy recommendations are proposed:first,to play the role of community to increase the social interaction and social participation of the youth migration;second,to play the role of social integration support policies for the youth migration;third,to advocate and promote the employment of the young female migration;fourth,to establish a linkage mechanism among various departments to protect the legal rights and interests of the migration and promote the social integration of the migration.
