At present, the collective struggle of farmers caused by the government’s land acquisition still occurs from time to time. The farmers’ struggle will undoubtedly increase the governance cost of grass-roots government, and even bring governance crisis. Therefore,it is great significance to study the resistance behavior of farmers and its dynamic mechanism and logic. This paper takes the graves relocation event in village B in southeastern Shandong as a micro case study,by personally participating in the whole process of the graves relocation event, and on the basis of clarifying the context of the whole graves relocation event, the author is committed to showing the game process between township and village cadres and mobilized villagers in the whole graves relocation event.By selecting the powerful and influential villagers’ elite in the village, that is,the authoritative figures in the village,as the research variables, this paper focuses on the attitudes, actions and results of the authoritative figures in the village in the face of the mobilization of cadres,as well as the resulting changes in the attitudes of other farmers, reveal some factors play special driving role for ordinary villagers to turn to resistance, these factors include the stock of social capital of authority figures, the social capital constructed by authority figures themselves in the process of resistance, the social capital constructed by authority figures and some villagers in the process of joint resistance,so as to explore the deep dynamic mechanism and logic behind farmers to collective resistance. This paper carries out the research through the idea of "literature combing-Case Introduction-process Restoration-research analysis-conclusion discussion".The main body of the article is divided into three parts. The first part is the background of moving graves and the response of villagers. This part focuses on the situation of Z town and B village, the reasons for the relocation of graves, the preliminary preparations for the relocation of graves and the villagers’ different attitudes towards the relocation of graves. The second part is the appearance of the struggle of authoritative figures and the collective struggle of villagers. The cadres of Z town and B village mobilized the villagers through threats and pressure.Authoritative figures chose to take practical action to resolutely resist the relocation of graves. When the villagers saw authoritative figures could support themselves, they took advantage of the situation to fight. The third part is the compromise of authority figures and the withdraw of villagers’ collective struggle.Authoritative figures chose to compromise in the face of the mobilization of cadres in Z town and B village at any cost. The villagers who fighting with authority figures finally had withdrawn from the struggle in accordance with the situation, because they lost their dependence, their own resistance strength was weakened,so they were unable to cope with the mobilization of cadres at the town and village levels.Through the research,we can find that the stock of social capital owned by authoritative figures is an important driving force for farmers to fight; The social capital constructed by authority figures and the social capital constructed by authority figures and farmers are the important reasons for farmers’ resistance; The social capital of the protest group may be digested and utilized by forces outside the group. In addition, the author also has some new understanding and thinking about social capital.Social capital may originate from informal networks in society;Social capital has the possibility of self strengthening;Vertical network also has the ability to construct social capital.
