Core literacy is the key path to cultivate students’ cognitive and continuous development ability in the discipline, and it has guiding significance for both "teaching" and "learning" of teaching activities. The "model cognition" is to form a structured connection between different cognitions in learning, and to emphasize the guidance of knowledge structure and cognitive logic in teaching. In this thesis,a study on the construction of chemical models is conducted for the content of "ionic reactions and equilibria in aqueous solutions".Firstly, through the analysis of literature and teaching practice,we design the idea of teaching chemical model building;secondly, through questionnaires and interviews,we understand the current situation of teaching chemical model building;then we implement and give feedback on the teaching of model building of "ionic reactions and equilibria in aqueous solutions";finally,we reflect and summarize the practice results, and get the effective way of teaching chemical modeling. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part explains the background and significance of the topic, reviews the theory and practice of chemical modeling at home and abroad, and then introduces the research contents and methods of this paper. The second part collects and organizes related literature, defines the concepts of modeling and chemical modeling, and introduces the theoretical basis of the study. The third part shows the investigation of the current situation of high school chemical modeling education, and compares and analyzes the results,so as to better carry out chemical modeling education based on the preliminary understanding of the actual school situation. In the fourth part, the model building teaching is carried out,and the research selection is mainly the selection of the first three sections of the third module "Ionic Reactions and Equilibria in Aqueous Solutions" in the selective Compulsory 1 "Principles of Chemical Reactions"(Human Education Version)for modeling teaching research. The design provides research support for teaching practice in high school chemistry classroom to test the effect of model building teaching implementation. The fifth section analyzes the effectiveness of the practical study, and uses Excel and SPSS 23.0 to analyze and compare the chemistry scores of the pre-test and post-test to evaluate the teaching effectiveness. The sixth part summarizes the research work of this dissertation, including research conclusions, and research deficiencies. The preliminary results show that the use of modeling in chemistry teaching can develop students’ thinking skills and help them to solve the problem-solving obstacles in chemistry, thus making them interested in further learning chemistry,as well as making them have a clearer understanding and awareness of the core literacy of chemistry, indicating that teaching through modeling is a more correct and meaningful way of teaching. It can help students to break through some important problems in "ionic reactions and equilibria in aqueous solutions",such as calculating the p H of solutions and determining the acidity and alkalinity of salt solutions. It can help students better integrate the knowledge and structure of the chapter, develop their thinking skills, and improve their chemistry performance and problem solving skills. The modeling of chemistry allows students to model and structure the chemistry content they are learning, allowing them to develop their thinking, thus improving their problem solving skills and effectively influencing their chemistry performance, and providing new teaching ideas and methods for teachers at the front line of education. |
