Casting a firm sense of the Chinese national community is a major decision made by the Party according to the great dream of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era,and is another innovative development of the combination of Marx’s theory of nationalities and Chinese reality,as well as an action guide to carry out national work and maintain national unity in the new era.Since the founding of New China,ethnic regions have played a pivotal role in maintaining national border security and promoting the development of ethnic unity.In order to implement the awareness of the Chinese national community into the work of ethnic unity in the new era,it is important to plant the seeds of ethnic unity in the hearts of students of all ethnic groups,so that students of all ethnic groups can form a correct perception of the country and the nation,enhance the value of the Chinese national community and forge a firm understanding of the Chinese national community.It is important to plant the seeds of national unity in the hearts of students of all ethnic groups,so that students of all ethnic groups can form a correct understanding of the country and the nation,enhance their value identity and consciousness of the Chinese national community,and transform their consciousness of action into practical motivation for national revival.The course "Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Socialist Theory System with Chinese Characteristics" is one of the core courses for college students to understand and form their emotional identification with the Chinese national community consciousness,and to consciously participate in the practical activities of safeguarding the development of the country and the nation.By integrating the awareness of Chinese national community into the course,students are guided to know,love and serve the nation,and to transform their national sentiments into patriotic actions in practice.This paper analyzes the scientific connotation,formation and theoretical foundation of Chinese national community consciousness on the basis of systematically sorting out the concepts related to relevant literature,and then argues the question of "why to integrate",that is,to analyze the feasibility and feasibility of integrating Chinese national community consciousness into "Introduction" courses in colleges and universities in ethnic areas.The paper then argues for the feasibility and importance of integrating Chinese national community consciousness into "Introduction" courses in colleges and universities in ethnic areas,so as to consolidate the theoretical foundation for the integration of Chinese national community consciousness into the teaching of"Introduction" courses.Secondly,this paper starts from the teaching materials of the"Introduction" class,takes "five identities" and "four commonalities" as the focus,and systematically analyzes "what to integrate"."This paper systematically analyzes the problem of integrating the knowledge of Chinese national community consciousness into the classroom teaching of the "Introduction" course.A questionnaire survey was also conducted to analyze the cognitive,content,and effect dimensions of the integration of Chinese national community consciousness into the classroom teaching of "Introduction"for students in 11 universities and colleges in the ethnic areas of Yunnan.The questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze the problems and causes of the integration of Chinese national community consciousness into the teaching of "Introduction" class.Finally,we clarify the principles that must be integrated into the teaching of the"Introduction" class,and elaborate on the three aspects of Chinese national community consciousness from enhancing the theoretical consciousness of educational subjects,innovating the teaching methods of "Introduction" class,and improving the evaluation system of integration into teaching.The effective way to integrate Chinese national community consciousness into the teaching of "general theory" in colleges and universities in ethnic areas.The integration of Chinese national community consciousness into the teaching of "general theory" in colleges and universities in ethnic areas can not only explore the connotation and extension of Chinese national community consciousness at a deeper level,but also greatly improve the academic rationality and relevance of the "Introduction" class.It is of great significance for the college students in ethnic areas to strengthen their ideal and belief of struggling for national rejuvenation.
