| In 2017,China issued the Chemistry Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools,which has clear provisions and descriptions for the process of experimental inquiry and experimental inquiry ability.The focus of education and teaching at home and abroad is gradually inclined to cultivate students’ experimental inquiry ability.So,what are the elements of experimental inquiry ability? How to evaluate the experimental inquiry ability of middle school students? Based on model-centric experimental inquiry,this study clarified the elements of experimental inquiry ability,and compiled a questionnaire to evaluate students’ experimental inquiry ability.This study firstly analyzed the inquiry teaching model proposed by relevant scholars by searching the literature on inquiry teaching,and combined with classroom teaching,determined the process of model central experiment inquiry.Then,starting from the defined experimental inquiry process,the literature on the elements of inquiry learning is sorted out to clarify the elements of the model central experimental inquiry ability.Then through the analysis of chemistry Curriculum Standard for General High School(2017 edition)and related research and literature,combined with experts’ suggestions,the elements of experimental inquiry ability are endowed with multi-level levels,and integrated into the model center experimental inquiry ability level analytic hierarchy table.Then,on the basis of experiments to explore the ability level hierarchical analysis table,combined with the research needs,collect the right type of experiments to explore the subject and combined with actual situation accordingly modified form appropriate survey questionnaire and establishment criteria,and select the right people to carry on the preliminary survey in order to further modify and improve the test questions and scoring criteria.Finally,considering various factors comprehensively,selecting appropriate subjects for actual measurement,combining vocal thinking with students’ written answers and other methods,this paper explores the elements of eugenic experimental inquiry ability in high school chemistry and evaluates its development level,in order to better guide teaching and learning,and improve the experimental inquiry ability of middle school students.The results show that :(1)experimental inquiry ability is a kind of comprehensive ability which contains many kinds of ability elements;(2)The development level of components of eugenic students’ exploratory ability is inconsistent;(3)Creative thinking and critical thinking ability are the key elements of eugenic experiment exploration ability.Research innovations :(1)elements of condensate experiment inquiry ability,which provides a new theoretical basis for future experimental inquiry ability research;(2)The level analysis framework of experimental inquiry ability is clarified,which provides a new method basis for evaluating experimental inquiry ability in the future.(3)It provides a reliable and novel measuring tool for evaluating the experimental inquiry ability of high school students by compiling a questionnaire. |
