As the The classical Chinese is an important carrier of fine traditional Chinese culture.Under the background of building up self-confidence of national culture,and in accordance with the unified deployment of the state,the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,starting from the autumn of 2020,will implement the compiled textbook of three subjects in the beginning grades in primary and secondary schools giving lessons about ethnic languages in the stage of compulsory education.There are totally 148 texts.To the exclusion of classic poetry,these texts include 40 classical Chinese texts Compiled edition Chinese textbook of junior middle school with the proportion of almost 30%.Since teachers and students of Mongolian junior middle schools have not been using the unified version of Chinese textbooks for a long time,and classical Chinese has not been included in the textbooks used before,the current situation of classical Chinese teaching is worth paying attention to.In order to have a deep understanding of the situation of the teaching current situation of classical Chinese Mongolian in Inner Mongolia Xingan League branch right Middle Country,the researchers chose six schools to conduct questionnaire survey,interview with teachers and students and observe the class activity.After having a statistic analysis of the research data we collected,they conclude that classical Chinese teaching in Mongolian middle school has achieved some interim results,but has some serious problems.For the classic Chinese teachers,they face many unsolved problems such as the single teaching method,outdated teaching methods and unscientific appraisal to the students.For the students,they face the main problems such as being weak in basic language knowledge,being low interest in studying classic Chinese and so on.The reasons for the above problems are as follows.Teachers are lack of knowledge about classical Chinese and teaching theory and also have weak awareness of teaching evaluation.Students ’ language environment is quite special.Last but not least,it is difficult to learn classic Chinese for students and it is hard to teach for teachers.In order to improve the quality of classical Chinese teaching,the researchers put forward improvement countermeasures from four aspects First,design the teaching content reasonably according to the specific learning situation.Second,change teaching methods so that to enhance students’ interest and ability in learning classic Chinese.Third,strengthen the evaluation concept and build an effective evaluation mechanism.Last but not least,find more ways to enhance teacher training.
