In recent years,the increasingly advanced scientific technology and multimedia technology have injected new vitality into the development of virtual reality technology.Virtual reality technology is a modern information technology that uses computer network simulation to generate a three-dimensional world,which enables users to observe things in a three-dimensional space without restriction.At present,virtual reality technology has been applied in the field of education,and has gradually become an effective tool to assist teaching and learning.By collecting relevant materials of virtual reality technology,it can be found that there are many reasons for the smooth operation of virtual reality technology in junior high school history teaching.According to its own characteristics,virtual reality technology can play a huge advantage in junior high school history classroom teaching,it is reflected in many aspects such as enhancing students’ interest in learning,cultivating students’ home and country feelings,cultivating students’ time and space concepts,and enriching the teaching methods of history classrooms.Therefore,virtual reality technology has practical application value in the field of junior high school history teaching.Based on the relevant research,the paper uses literature analysis,case analysis,interviews and other methods to explore the application of virtual reality technology in junior high school history teaching.By reading a lot of literature,the feasibility and necessity of applying virtual reality technology to junior middle school history teaching are analyzed;at the same time,it studies three types of virtual reality technology applied to junior high school history teaching,namely observational,input and linkage virtual reality,and proposes that teachers should follow the teaching of scientific,purposeful and appropriate in the application process.in principle;further explored the adaptability of virtual reality technology in junior high school history teaching,involving four categories: teaching of historical figures,teaching of historical objects,teaching of historical events,and teaching of ideology and culture;in addition,through interviews with front-line teachers in many places in Shandong,it is found that there are related problems such as insufficient funds,limitations of test-oriented education,and lack of equipment resources in the promotion of virtual reality technology in middle schools.Large capital investment,cultivation of talents and other methods.In order to specifically demonstrate the application process of virtual reality technology in history teaching,the lesson of "The Long March of the Red Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants" is used as a case for teaching design to provide vivid case support for history teaching under virtual reality technology.
