The reform of physics textbooks is one of the focuses of the new curriculum reform.With the release of The Physics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017Edition),People’s Education Press and Shandong Science and Technology Press respectively have compiled and published new textbooks(hereinafter referred to as "PEP textbook" and "Luke textbook" respectively)on this basis.The new textbook is not only an important teaching resource,but also carries the educational concept of the new era.By comparing different versions of physics textbooks,we can not only provide resources for teachers in the teaching preparation period,but also help teachers learn from the advantages and characteristics of the two versions of physics textbooks in the classroom teaching process,so as to improve the quality and efficiency of teaching.This paper took the subject of "Curvilinear motion and the law of Universal Gravitation" in the compulsory 2 modules of senior high school physics PEP textbook and Luke textbook as the research object.The present situation of comparative study of physics teaching textbooks is summarized and sorted by the method of literature research.By method of comparative study,this paper compared and analyzed the content selection,chapter arrangement,column selection,the design of chart,sample arrangement and exercise arrangement between textbooks published by PEP textbook and Luke textbook.Using the method of knowledge analysis,this paper made a detailed comparison and analysis of the specific content of the unit "circular motion" in the two editions of textbooks from the selection of knowledge points,the presentation of logic in the textbooks and the definition of physical concepts and laws,and analyzes the important knowledge in this unit combined with the core physics literacy.Finally,based on the result of the comparison of teaching materials,the teaching design of "circular motion" is carried out on the basis of the textbook of PEP textbook to provide reference for teaching practice.The results show that the two editions of textbooks have reached the standards of the new curriculum and have a high consistency with the new standards.The specific performance was as follows:(ⅰ)in the selection of knowledge points,both editions paid attention to the selection of basic knowledge.The selection of textbook knowledge of PEP textbook strictly followed the curriculum standards and learned the knowledge points required in the new curriculum standards well,which had the characteristics of "less but better".Luke textbook focused more on the breadth of knowledge point selection,which had the characteristics of "wide and deep".(ⅱ)in terms of chapter arrangement,the structure of the textbook chapters of the PEP textbook was rigorous,paid attention to cultivating students’ problem consciousness in the "introduction of sections".Luke textbook paid more attention to cultivating problem consciousness in the "introduction of chapters" to promote the occurrence of students’ meaningful learning.(ⅲ)in terms of column setting,PEP textbook paid attention to problem guidance,paid attention to cultivate students’ thinking ability,discussion and communication ability.The columns of Luke textbook were richer and paid attention to students’ evaluation.(ⅳ)in terms of chart arrangement,the two editions of textbooks mainly focused on concept schematic diagram life science and technology diagram,paid attention to the construction of students’ physical concept law,the cultivation of scientific thinking,reflected the relationship between physics and life.However,in terms of the number of charts,the number of charts in Luke textbook was slightly more than that in PEP textbook.(ⅴ)in terms of example setting,both editions of textbooks were set as calculation questions,paid attention to the mastery and application of basic knowledge points.Luke textbook set example questions in each chapter and paid more attention to the creation of situation.The situation involved a wide range of fields and paid attention to the transfer and application of knowledge.(ⅵ)in the setting of exercises,both editions of textbooks paid attention to the creation of exercises in daily life situations.The PEP textbook was less than those of Luke textbook in the setting of exercise columns,quantity and question types.(ⅶ)in the presentation of important knowledge points,both editions of textbooks paid attention to reflecting the core literacy of physics.The textbook of PEP textbook paid attention to the connection between the old and the new,focused on the formation of physical concepts and paid attention to cultivating students’ scientific thinking.Luke textbook paid more attention to the foundation of knowledge,focused on the application of physical concepts and paid attention to the cultivation of students’ scientific inquiry ability.Combined with the above research results,this paper put forward some suggestions on the compilation of the two editions of teaching materials and proposed two suggestions for teachers.
