Since the 1980 s,China has begun to recruit high-level athletes in colleges and universities.Through college platforms,it trains talents who have both a high level of sports skills and a high academic level, and combines education with sports to achieve comprehensive training. The purpose of quality talent. With China’s transition from a "big sports country" to a "sports power country" and the construction of a "double first-class" university, the problem of learning adaptation of high-level athletes in ordinary colleges and universities has gradually attracted attention.Facing the phenomenon that the learning gap between high-level athletes and ordinary students when they first entered the university is obvious, and their own learning ability and learning methods are weak, how can they improve the learning adaptability of high-level athletes? This requires us to turn to the research behind learning adaptation. This study is based on the self-discrepancy theory, and uses the learning adaptation of high-level athletes as the starting point. It adopts research methods of interviews and participatory observations, and takes high-level athletes in universities as the research object, starting from the individual’s own perception of learning.Explore the characteristics of this special group’s learning and the factors affecting their learning adaptation.Based on the interviews, this study selected a university in Nanjing as a sample school, selected 8 high-level athletes as the research object, and conducted participatory observations and in-depth interviews on the basis of pre-interviews with4 athletes. The interviews were recorded and observed, and the data were sorted, coded, analyzed, and tested to reveal the subjective and objective factors that affect the learning adaptation of high-level athletes.Combining the theory of self-difference with existing research, explore specific factors at various levels. The effect of mechanism on learning adaptation of high-level athletes, and draw the conclusions of this study:1.The learning adaptability of high-level athletes in ordinary colleges and universities is affected by both subjective and objective factors. The subjective factors include the expected results of higher education and role positioning;the objective factors include peer factors, school factors, and social factors.2.Self-discrepancy theory constitutes subject cognition, which directly affects the learning adaptation of high-level athletes in ordinary universities. The role cognition level includes cognition of their own roles, inherent responsibilities, obligations and value judgments;the level of ideal expectation, including learning The expectation of success and the improvement of one’s own ability, that is,whether you believe that you have the ability to have the desired qualities,or strive to achieve your own expectations of learning.3.Objective factors indirectly affect the learning adaptation of high-level athletes mainly through the role of self-difference theory. The path of influence includes the influence of subjects such as schools, coaches, teachers, peers, etc.Among them, the behaviors and expectations of others affect the individual’s behavior choices and values.Sources include teachers’ attitudes, coaches ’expectations, peer behaviors, and social impressions. On the other hand, external expectations of individuals and the characteristics that individuals should have affect the individual’s psychological and behavioral choices to varying degrees.Based on the above conclusions, this study constructs a theoretical model of influencing factors for learning adaptation of high-level athletes, and puts forward corresponding suggestions for learning adaptation of high-level athletes in ordinary colleges: First,we must integrate resources, improve athlete management mechanisms, and minimize athletes and ordinary athletes. The gap between students when they enter school;the second is to strengthen the study guidance for high-level athletes,to meet the learning needs of athletes, and to create a good learning environment for students;the third is to focus on emotional support, change the negative status quo,and stimulate and enhance self Potential, adjust mentality, and improve athletes’ self-identity.On the one hand, this study reveals the current situation of high-level athletes’ learning and adaptation from the perspective of the learning needs of high-level athletes, and from the individual micro-level.It provides a useful reference for the development of corresponding personalized services and the improvement of the willingness and adaptation of high-level athletes. On the other hand,in-depth exploration of influencing factors of learning adaptation provides a basis for optimizing the training structure of the group to meet the needs of the group receiving higher education during school.
