The theme of this article is the competitiveness of rural family education under the framework of educational interaction.In the existing research,the education dilemma faced by rural families is discussed more from the macroscopic system level or the microcosmic family background level,but there is less research on how to mobilize the initiative of rural families to achieve educational breakthrough.Therefore,from the micro-level family education interaction,this article focuses on rural families with similar economic capital and cultural capital.How to achieve a breakthrough in education?How is it besieged by education?This paper selects S Village in the west of Henan Province as the field research site,and analyzes the research problems of this paper by describing the differences in education interaction among rural families.Through the combing of cultural reproduction theory,this paper finds that rural families are facing the dilemma of cultural reproduction.Therefore,starting from the family education interaction,this article attempts to construct an educational interaction model between parents and students to analyze the different educational results achieved by different families under the constraints of cultural reproduction.This model attempts to turn the single educational subject in the past research into a two-way educational interaction.And taking initiative level as the dimension,it is divided into the positive educational interaction of "parent high initiative-student high initiative",the negative education interaction of "parent low initiative-student low initiative","parent high initiative-student low initiative" and "parent low initiative-student high initiative" of the"wait-and-see" educational interaction.Three types of educational interaction,to show the impact of different educational interactions on rural education.Active educational interaction means that parents have high educational initiative and rich educational insights.Through ideological educational expectation,educational participation in action and verbal education encouragement,parents’ high educational aspirations are conveyed to their children.Children understand that education is the only channel for them to obtain upward mobility,so they have high educational ambitions.They can increase their reserves of cultural capital through sensibility and hard work in order to obtain high educational achievements.The transmission of educational insights and educational aspirations effectively expresses both sides’ understanding of educational attitudes and behaviors,and forms a positive educational interaction.Negative educational interaction means that parents have low educational initiative,neglect their children’s education,and pass on their educational attitudes to their children through low educational expectations in ideology,laissez-faire educational participation in action,and verbal attack.Children respond to parents’ educational actions with educational abandonment.The negative transmission of educational neglect and educational abandonment negatively expresses both sides’ understanding of educational attitudes and behaviors,forming a negative educational interaction.Wait-and-see education interaction is an intermediate form of positive education interaction and negative education interaction.Parents and children examine each other’s educational behaviors,and the interactive parties take further action strategies based on their own observations.This research intends to show that positive educational interaction is the space for initiative in cultural reproduction,which is conducive to breaking through the shackles of cultural reproduction and realizing the breakthrough and upward mobility of education;negative educational interaction adopts negative initiative,and is ultimately trapped In the logic of cultural reproduction;the wait-and-see educational interaction is in the middle stage of cultural reproduction,and the ultimate breakthrough or siege depends on the educational interaction methods adopted by parents and students.Different educational interactions lead to different educational results,and such educational results will trigger stratification within rural education.Families that achieve a breakthrough in education get more cultural capital,and then gain a higher economic and social status.The besieged family is still in the original social position,and then a new cultural reproduction is produced. |
