With the deepening of education reform in China,the status and role of teachers in education are becoming more and more prominent.As the future builders and successors of society,teachers shoulder the mission of spreading knowledge and shaping lives.What kind of teachers cultivate what kind of students,the quality of teachers relates to the quality of students.In recent years,the proportion of young teachers in primary schools is increasing,and they have gradually become the main force of teachers in basic education.As a young team,they have passion,vitality and ideals,and are emerging forces to promote education reform.Especially young Chinese teachers in primary schools,as the undertaker of mother tongue education,their quality has a great impact on the quality of students.Teachers’ professional development is not only restricted by their own factors,but also needs the support of external environment.As the main working environment for teachers,schools should provide a support system for the professional development of young Chinese teachers.As the object of the school support system,the current situation of Chinese young teachers’ professional development reflects the current situation of the school support system to some extent.Therefore,this study starts from two aspects:the status quo of professional development of young Chinese teachers and the status quo of school support system,and summarizes the experience and deficiencies of school support system.Firstly,this study defined core concepts such as young teachers and school support system from the knowledge level through literature analysis.Under the guidance of relevant theories,the internal structure of teacher professional development and the components of school support system are distinguished so as to promote the design and implementation of the questionnaire.Secondly,through the questionnaire method,it is revealed that there are some practical problems in the professional development of young Chinese teachers in primary schools,such as unfirm career ideal,backward development of professional theoretical knowledge,difficulty in applying excellent teaching ideas to practice,weak teaching tact in classroom teaching and heavy work pressure.Although we can see from the interview that the school has some experience advantages in school-based training,such as the establishment of the Youth Development Institute and the emphasis on school-based teaching and research.We can find that the school still has some problems in promoting the professional development of young Chinese teachers in primary schools,such as lack of motivation motivated by material rewards,imperfect evaluation system,insufficient emotional support and incomplete school-based training content.Finally,based on the existing problems in reality,the author puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the professional development of young Chinese teachers in primary schools:To promote the professional development of young Chinese teachers in an all-round way,to stimulate the consciousness of independent professional development of young Chinese teachers,to improve the evaluation system of young Chinese teachers,and to optimize the management of young Chinese teachers,promoting the sustained and healthy professional development of young Chinese teachers in primary schools.
