Building A Green University

The fundamental foundation of the sustainable development of human beings and society is the excellent ecological and natural environment,saving resources and protecting the environment is the basic state policy of our country,the relationship between future generations,the relationship between social and economic long-term development.Colleges and universities are important consumers of energy resources,influencers of ecological environment,gathering places of talents and elites,and one of the manufacturers and providers of green ideas,knowledge and technology,which should bear corresponding responsibilities and obligations in the construction of national ecological civilization.First of all,this paper analyzes the connotation,construction content,construction goal and evaluation system of green university construction from the background and significance of green university construction,and expounds the significance of using public governance theory to study green university construction.Then,through the practice of the construction of the Green University of X University,the concrete implementation of some projects of the construction of the Green University of X University,and combined with the collation and analysis of the interview results of the leaders of the university,the administrative departments,the staff,teachers and students,this paper puts forward the difficulties faced in the process of the construction of the Green University:the change of the governance system lags behind the new demand of the construction of the Green University,the lack of collaboration among the governance subjects,the insufficient investment of governance resources,the lack of performance appraisal mechanism of the governance subject.There is a lack of diversity in the way of publicity and education of the main body of governance.Finally,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the construction of Green University.It mainly includes:perfecting the system and procedures of multi-subject participation,setting up professional governance institutions,forming a governance model of interaction from top to bottom,establishing clear construction objectives and evaluation mechanism,and establishing financial security mechanism.In this paper,the theory of public governance is introduced to study the construction of Green Universities,and the perspective of the research is novel and unique,which helps universities to system and deepen the construction of Green Universities,and can provide reference and reference for colleges and universities to solve practical problems.However,because the construction of Green University is a huge work with rich theoretical connotation,strong operability and practice,and because the author’s theoretical and practical level is limited,the analysis and research of many problems in this paper is still not detailed,in-depth and comprehensive.
