Objective:To explore the application effect of bilateral transfer theory in U11 football skill training.Research Methods:Twenty-four players(10.25±0.75 years old)from Songjiang Wushu School were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group practiced with left foot(non-dominant foot)first and then practiced with right foot(dominant foot)in each practice(1:1).The control group did not emphasize the use of the non-dominant foot for technical practice.Juggling, dribbling, kicking, and catching skills were one of the main tests during the morning hours.Results:① There was no interaction effect between group and intervention time on the results of right foot bounce, dribble and comprehensive test(P>0.05).Group had no major effect on the results of three tests(P>0.05),but time had major effect on the contents of three tests(P<0.05).② Before intervention, there was no significant difference between the experimental group(P=0.309)and the control group(P=0.302).After intervention, there was still no significant difference in the experimental group(P=0.496),but there was a significant difference in the control group(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there were significant differences in the experimental group(P<0.05)and the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, there was no significant difference in the experimental group(P=0.507),but there was still significant difference in the control group(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there were significant differences in the experimental group(P<0.05)and the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, there was no significant difference in the experimental group(P=0.166),but there was still significant difference in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The application of bilateral transfer theory in U11 football training can not significantly improve the performance of right foot(dominant foot)football skill test.(2)The application of bilateral transfer teaching method in U11 football training can effectively balance the development of left and right foot football skills;(3)In the development process of youth football skills, kicking and catching and dribbling skills are more likely to have uneven development of left and right feet than bouncing.
