A Study Of The American Football Culture From Chinese And Western Body Views Perspective

As a spectacle sport in the United States,American football contains rich sports culture connotation.In recent years,American football is booming in China,but there are many difficulties in its development,among which culture is the deep reason.Body is the carrier of sports activities,American football as a full body contact sport,it is particularly important to study American football culture from the perspective of body.Therefore,under the cross-cultural background,this paper takes the body views of China and the West as the perspective,takes the American football culture as the research object.And adopts the comparative research method,logical analysis method and interview method,aims to study the cultural connotation of American football,promote people’s understanding and acceptance of the sport.So as to promote the mutual learning of Chinese and Western body view and the exchange of Chinese and western sports culture.The study shows that:(1)American football culture is the unity of formal,technical and informal culture,and is closely related to American society.From the perspective of body,the formal culture of American football includes the protective equipment of American football,the intuitive muscle body image,and the violent physical confrontation;the technical culture includes body technology of reasonable collision,the subtle and complex tactics,and the disciplinary body execution;the informal culture embodies the deeper culture of the body,such as the inclusiveness,carnival,discipline and transcendence.(2)The development of American football in China reflects the collision and exchange of body views between China and the West.The differences in the aesthetic orientation of the body,the form of physical expression,the way of body training and the concept of body culture affect the understanding and acceptance of American football culture between China and the West.(3)Under the background of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures,Chinese traditional body-mind monism can contribute wisdom to the problem of body alienation in American football culture.And American football culture is a beneficial supplement to our traditional body views,and has practical significance to many social problems in our country.(4)Under the background of Chinese social culture,the development strategies of American football in China include reducing physical antagonism in the promotion stage,paying attention to physical protection and promotion,and promoting deep cultural acceptance.Finally,the paper points out that the cross-cultural development of American football in China is the embodiment of the collision and integration of Chinese and Western body views and sports culture.At the same time,the body is the carrier of sports practice and the object of transformation.It is necessary to study sports culture from the body views,which is conducive to promoting the sustainable development of sports and deepening the research of sports culture.
