With the development of functional training and its continuous application and improvement in sports training,the importance of hip muscle in sports has been gradually recognized,especially in the prevention of injury and improvement of pain.In volleyball,the occurrence of knee injury and pain of athletes is the highest in all sports injuries,which requires frequent take-off and squat volleyball players,once the occurrence of knee injury will have a great impact on the competitive level of athletes.The purpose of this study is to explore whether hip activation exercises will affect knee muscle strength,proprioception and dynamic balance ability of volleyball players through increasing hip activation exercises before training and competition,so as to increase joint stability and reduce the risk of sports injury.This paper use literature method,experimental method and mathematical statistics,14 in Beijing sports university volleyball team players as experimental objects,subjects randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each group of 7 people,altogether six-week experimental intervention,the experimental group do the hip activation exercise intervention,control group to carry on the static stretching exercises,respectively on two groups of subjects before and after the experiment of knee joint muscle strength,and proprioception and related parameters of dynamic balance test,test indicators include:The relative peak moment and flexor/extensor moment ratio of knee joint,knee position sense difference and Y-balance test scores were measured at 60°/s and 180°/s velocity.The test results of the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment were sorted out and analyzed by mathematical statistics,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The gluteal activation exercises improve and strengthen the hip joint movement ability by activating gluteus and peripheral muscles,optimize the movement pattern of volleyball players,improve the knee flexor weakness of volleyball players,knee flexor and extension muscles tend to balance and get balanced development,and maintain the stability of the knee joint.(2)The gluteal activation exercises can effectively improve the joint position sense of volleyball players’ knee joint,enhance the sensitivity of proprioceptive receptors through muscle activation,mobilize the nervous system to control the muscle,improve the proprioceptive function of volleyball players,and enable volleyball players to maintain the relative stability of the knee joint in movement.(3)The gluteal activation exercise can effectively activate the gluteus muscle,make it actively participate in the movement and send force,strengthen the stability of the hip joint and the ability to control the body posture,improve the dynamic balance ability of the lower limbs of volleyball players,and enhance the efficiency of power transmission.(4)The gluteal activation exercises can effectively improve the imbalance of knee muscle force in volleyball players,improve the proprioceptive function of knee joint,strengthen the dynamic balance ability of lower limbs,comprehensively improve the function and stability of knee joint,and thereby reduce the risk of sports injury of knee joint in volleyball players.
