With the economic development and the improvement of material living standards,health awareness is deeply rooted in people’s hearts,and physical exercise has become an important means to maintain physical vitality and health."Internet +sports" has driven the emergence,development and prosperity of fitness apps.Using fitness apps for exercise intervention has become a priority for the public to stay healthy.Although the functions of the fitness apps have been quite rich,including dynamic tracking,data recording,exercise guidance,social sharing,online activities,gamification design,etc.,the function usage rate of the fitness apps is not high,and the usage scenarios need to be further enriched.Some studies have pointed out that the current problem of "with exercise motivation,want to stay healthy,but unable to persist in physical exercise" in college students is generally manifested as intermittent exercise behaviors,and the use of fitness apps also shows the "No Exercise No APP" status of use.A large number of studies have confirmed that the use of fitness apps can effectively improve the physical status of the public,change exercise attitudes,enhance exercise motivation,and develop long-term exercise behavior habits.Some scholars believe that fitness apps can trigger the psychological craving of fitness behaviors.The digitization and socialization of fitness apps,individual exercise identity and exercise self-efficacy can promote exercise behaviors.However,the study of its mechanism of exercise behaviors is not yet mature and needs further in-depth systematic analysis.Based on the SOR stimulus-individual-response model,this study will study on how the use of the fitness apps’ functions trigger the user’s psychological activities,and then push the exercise behaviors change,based on the SOR stimulus-individual-response model.Chapter 1 Introduction.First,introduce the research background of this article,analyze the current situation of the use of fitness APP,and the existing practical problems,put forward the research questions of this article,and explain the purpose and significance of this research.Subsequently,summarize the related researches on exercise behaviors,fitness apps,the relationship between fitness apps and exercise behaviors.Then point out the shortcomings of the current researches and propose the main research content of this article,with the research methods,innovations and deficiencies.Chapter 2 Fitness Behavior and Fitness APP.First,define the concept of fitness behavior and fitness APP.Secondly,based on the relevant theories and models of behavior,interpret it in the context of sports,through the analysis of the theoretical model,summarize and sort out the effects that influence the change of exercise behaviors.Finally,the related research on the mechanism of the influence of fitness app on exercise behavior change was sorted out.By comparison,point out the richness of the functions of fitness apps and the research on its influence mechanism on exercise behavior have not been thoroughly discussed.Chapter 3 Analysis of Fitness APP’s Functions and Usage Research.It is pointed out that the use of fitness apps is a self-quantified behavior,which makes the "invisible" data of individual’s physical status become "visible" in a digital way.First of all,we selected three domestic mainstream fitness apps: Keep,Yue Pao Quan,and Gudong,to display and introduce their core functions.Secondly,based on literature research and actual use,design questionnaires to obtain data for descriptive statistical analysis,mainly to understand the exercise habits of college students,the status quo of the use of fitness apps and the status quo of the specific functions use of fitness apps.Chapter 4 The influence of the Use of Fitness APP’s functions on exercise behaviors.Through semi-structured in-depth interviews,obtain relevant information about college students’ use of fitness apps’ functions,usage scenarios,usage experience,and exercise behavior changes.Based on the grounded theory and the SOR stimulus-individual-response model,the interview data is encoded in three levels,and the SOR model of the functional use of the fitness apps on the change the exercise behaviors is constructed.Chapter 5 Summary.Sort out and summarize all the research in this article,including research results,research contributions,research deficiencies,and prospects for future related research.
