| Since 2009,Chinese has become one of the foreign language subjects in the national college entrance examination of Thailand,which has a history of 10 years.With the further spread and promotion of Chinese in Thailand,the number of Thai students taking part in the Chinese college entrance examination in Thailand is increasing.However,as a national exam,the students taking the exam generally reflect the low scores and high difficulty of the exam.As a result,this test has attracted more and more attention of researchers.This paper first gives a brief introduction to the general situation of the Chinese college entrance examination in Thailand,and defines the nature of the examination from the perspective of language testing theory,making it clear that it is a selective level test.Secondly,this paper starts with the test content of the Chinese national college entrance examination in Thailand,and compares the test content with the new Chinese proficiency test in four aspects:pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and cultural common sense.It points out that the proposition of the Chinese national college entrance examination in Thailand lacks scientific basis,the difficulty of the test is high,the ability of the test is single,and the content of the test is inconsistent with the actual teaching content.At the same time,this paper uses the form of interview and questionnaire survey to investigate and interview Thai teachers and students,from which we can understand the problems of Thai teachers’ college entrance examination teaching and students’ college entrance examination learning.Finally,this paper puts forward the solutions of the above problems from three angles:proposition,teacher and student.As a Chinese teacher,especially a volunteer teacher should help students learn Chinese from many aspects,such as improving their theoretical level,adapting to the environment and changing teaching methods.Students should strengthen the study of basic knowledge and pay attention to the similarities and differences between different examinations to find their own learning methods.Thailand’s proposition group should standardize its proposition scope from the introduction of syllabus,increase the number of front-line teachers to the proposition group,and reform the form of examination,so as to constantly improve the examination,so that it can truly and effectively reflect the Chinese level of students and improve the effectiveness of the test. |
