| The motto is a necessary resource that help teachers and stuidents integrate with culture of university.Meanwhile,the teachers as well as students have to identity with motto in order to get enrollment of university.Based on the theory of cultural identity and theory of circuit of culture,this paper make an investigation on the motto identification of teachers and students through questionnaire,literature research and field study.The survey conveys that a massive majority of teachers and students can reach the comparative level,and students’ level is lower than the teachers’.However,there is still few people can get full identity on the motto.Through the T-test and ANOVA from various students and teachers,we found: a stable living environment,rich cultural surroundings,comprehensive cognition of motto,all of them will improve the identification motto.Through the correlation of students and teachers,we found: propaganda,achievement,president’s behaviour,teachers’ behaviour,students’ behaviour are favourable factors for students recognition of the motto.Propaganda and president’s behaviour have a greater effect on teachers identification.According to analysis of data,the motto identity lacks a thorough comprehension of content,lacks specific of emotions,lacks presentation behaviors and lacks cooperation between all groups in university.The causes are follows: the regulators neglect the excavation of motto content,ignore to shape the vision,fail to create a circuit of motto.Therefore,in order to improve the identity of the motto by teachers and students,it is necessary to strengthen the propaganda of motto,to refine the cultural resources of motto,to promote leaders to do their best and to improve the coordination of system.At last,making the motto as a organization symbol for teachers and students in university. |
