| With the introduction of the new college entrance examination reform program,the importance of enhancing the career cognition level and career decision-making self-efficacy of high school students has been highlighted.The career education in high school has become inevitable,and the self-cognition,self-decision and choice are the top priorities in career education.High school stage is the exploration stage of individual’s life.In this stage,individuals gradually determine the major and career they will choose in the future through self-knowledge,and finally achieve the goal through reasonable planning.By investigating the basic situation of Korean senior high school students,this paper understands the problems in social support,career development and career decision-making effectiveness of Korean senior high school students,analyzes the results,and puts forward Suggestions to provide experience and methods for the effectiveness and pertinence of career education for Korean senior high school students.In this paper,385 Korean senior high school students from grade 1 to grade 3 of yanbian no.1 middle school in yanji city and tonghua city were studied.Using social support scale,career development scale and career decision-making self-efficacy scale as tools,the following conclusions are drawn through investigation,statistics and analysis:(1)the social support,career development and career decision-making self-efficacy of Korean high school students are generally good,showing an upper average level,but the utilization of social support is low,mainly caused by the long-term absence of their parents.(2)social support,career development and career decision-making self-efficacy of Korean senior high school students are significantly different from each other in demographic variables.(3)social support,career development and career decision-making self-efficacy of Korean senior high school students are significantly positively correlated.(4)social support and career development of Korean senior high school students can positively predict self-efficacy of career decision-making.Social support plays a significant role in predicting career decision-making self-efficacy.Social support is a significant predictor of career development.Social support can not only directly predict career decision-making self-efficacy,but also predict career decision-making self-efficacy through the mediating role of career development.In view of the above research results,the following Suggestions are made:(1)parents and teachers should give more social support to Korean high school students,and correctly focus on the gender and subject of high school students,so as to improve the social support utilization of Korean high school students;(2)parents should correctly guide and help Korean senior high school students to make professional choices and improve their career planning;(3)broaden the access to vocational information and expand the range of choice for Korean senior high school students;(4)carry out targeted career development education activities and practical courses for Korean senior high school students in grade one,grade two,grade three and grade three;(5)to further supplement and develop the cooperation between family and school,to form a strong external support force for Korean senior high school students and to build a joint force for the career education of Korean senior high school students. |
