Research On The Path Of Integrating The Spirit Of Combating The COVID-19 Into The Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

In 2022,the Ministry of Education and ten other departments issued the "Work Plan for Comprehensive Promotion of the Construction of ’Great Ideological and Political Courses’ ".It pointed out that schools at all levels should fully tap into local red culture and school history resources around the great practices of the new era,and introduce the spirit of combating COVID-19(anti-epidemic spirit)and other great spirits,vivid and lively practical achievements,as well as the advanced deeds of heroes and models,into the classroom.Exploring the integration of the anti-epidemic spirit into ideological and political education for college students,and vigorously promoting this spirit to comprehensively improve the quality of ideological and political work,is a response to the development of the times and a necessary requirement for the modernization of ideological and political education in China’s modernization process.This study conducted research on the path of integrating the anti-epidemic spirit into ideological and political education for college students.Based on the search for the value,feasibility,and challenges,this study proposed a path for this integration.The research was mainly conducted from four aspects:1.Elaborating on relevant concepts,sorting out the logical generation of the anti-epidemic spirit and the theoretical basis for integrating it into ideological and political education for college students,laying the theoretical foundation for this study.2.From the two dimensions of ideological and political education for college students and college students themselves,the value was explored,mainly reflected in providing vitality for the innovation and development of ideological and political education for college students and adding momentum for the growth and success of college students.3.A feasibility analysis are made from the purpose and content compatibility of college students’ ideological and political education.At the same time,the challenges face by the university are also discussed,including the heavy task of ideological and political education in universities,the gradual weakening of social anti-epidemic spiritual education,the easy absence of family education,and the limited self-education ability of college students.4.Based on the value,feasibility,and challenges this study proposed a path for this integration from the perspective of school,society,family and individual: universities should provide good theoretical courses on ideological and political education,carry out social practice education,and hold campus cultural activities;society should explore the heroic deeds of epidemic prevention,strengthen the guidance of public opinion on the epidemic,improve public cultural services,and improve the volunteer service system;parents should increase their understanding of the anti-epidemic spirit and organize family activities on this theme;college students should enhance their self-education motivation and capabilities.
