Research On Future Community Functions Based On Residents’ Cognition

Community is the smallest unit in the national governance system and the governance unit closest to the people’s aspirations for a better life.The future community is an effective exploration of community construction,a policy driven from top to bottom,and its core essence is centered around the people’s desire for a better life.However,whether the implementation of policies matches the needs of residents and whether the implementation of future communities truly meets residents’ expectations still requires bottom-up research.At present,there is still insufficient research on future community functions based on residents’ cognition in China.This article obtained interview data of future community residents through onsite research,and collected and organized relevant literature on future community function research through literature research methods.First of all,the author does not presuppose any theories and assumptions,and does not have any preconceived views.The author interviewed the residents of Bailu County East Mixed Age Community within the implementation unit of the future community of Liangzhu Cultural Village,interviewed the residents’ experience of living in the community,recorded the interview content and converted it into words,formed the interview text,stopped the interview after the text information was saturated,and conducted a Grounded theory analysis of the text.Next,this article analyzes the current status of future community research and community function research both domestically and internationally,and defines the concepts of community and future community.Finally,conduct theoretical analysis on the samples and data to form the final conclusion,and discuss the conclusion.Through in-depth interviews,coding,and theoretical analysis of future community residents,it was found that the future community function model based on residents’ cognition can be summarized into four aspects: community service,cultural construction,multi-level governance,and innovation and entrepreneurship.The community service function includes three elements: life service,quality of life,and smart governance.It is the most fundamental function of the future community and constitutes the cornerstone of a better life in the future community;Cultural construction is the characteristic function of future communities,including neighborhood culture,architectural planning,and cultural atmosphere.It is a key function for the integration,enhancement,and differentiation of future communities from ordinary communities;Multi level governance is the innovative function of the future community,including three elements of residents’ autonomy,Community Governance and cultural governance,which has certain requirements for the quality of community residents;Innovation and entrepreneurship are the enhancing functions of future communities,including three elements: model innovation,entrepreneurial innovation,and employment support.They are the driving force for future communities to maintain vitality and continuously explore forward.
