| At present,climate issue is no longer a small topic,but a hot topic of global concern.The rise in sea levels caused by climate change is having a serious impact on some developing countries,resulting in inundation of land or frequent extreme weather events and forcing local residents to leave their homes.Although how to deal with climate change is on the agenda of most countries today,the people affected by climate change still do not attract enough attention from the international community.Since the effects of climate change are now being felt in certain parts of certain countries,people negatively affected by such changes cannot find solutions other than resettlement in their own countries.Many island nations will disappear in the near future due to rising sea levels,but it is not clear how the world will act,and the refugee system does not recognize refugees affected by climate change.The need for international protection of these climate refugees in international law is therefore Paramount.The most vulnerable countries are those affected by climate.By analyzing 6cases of landlocked developing countries and island developing countries,the author sorted out the primary problems encountered in the protection of climate refugees,such as inadequate international legislation,lack of legal status,lack of corresponding responsibility subjects,lack of specialized protection organizations and judicial difficulties.Based on the analysis of the existing means of protecting climate refugees,it is pointed out that the special convention of "climate refugees" should be established to give climate refugees definite legal status,and improve the protection of climate refugees from the protection mechanism,judicial relief,responsibility and other aspects. |
