Research On Community Home-based Care For The Aged In Wuhan

The population problem is an overall,long-term and strategic problem that China is facing in the primary stage of socialism.With the completion of the construction of a well-off society in an all-round way,China has started a new journey of building a socialist modern power in an all-round way in the second century.The problem of population aging has become a livelihood problem that needs to be solved urgently in the new journey.Doing a good job in aging and realizing a sense of security has become an important issue of the times.Community home-based care for the aged is a mode that more and more people prefer to choose.As the capital city of Hubei Province,Wuhan has a concentrated population and aging situation.In order to effectively solve the problems of elderly care and do a good job in elderly care service,the Wuhan Municipal Government has followed the policies and guidelines of the Party and the state for elderly care,actively carries out the reform of community home care service,explored a pension model that conforms to the characteristics of China and can effectively promote the high-quality development of China’s pension service,and promoted the modernization level of community governance and the improvement of the level of pension and people’s livelihood security in China.In this paper,Changqing Garden Community,a "national civilized community" in Dongxihu District of Wuhan,is taken as a case study.Through field research,questionnaire survey and interview,we have a comprehensive grasp of the basic situation of the development of home-based aged care services in Changqing Garden,On this basis,the paper makes an in-depth analysis,and concludes that there are some problems in the process of developing community home care service in Changqing Garden,such as inadequate service,incomplete equipment,insufficient combination of medical care and nursing care,insufficient intelligent pension,and low professional degree of elderly care personnel,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on stimulating the vitality of multiple subjects,strengthening the guarantee of service investment,improving the quality of elderly care service from the perspective of combining medical care with intelligent elderly care,building a high-quality service team,and improving and strengthening the construction of community home care system.
