Revolutionary cultural relics bear the profound historical process of the Chinese revolution,record the touching deeds of the Party and the people in the course of the revolution,embody the value pursuit and ideal belief of countless revolutionary ancestors,and contain the great revolutionary spirit.They play a unique role in the patriotic education of college students in the new era,providing profound nourishment for the construction of socialist spiritual civilization,stimulating patriotism and inspiring the national spirit.Under the background of the new era,to strengthen the development and research of revolutionary cultural relics resources in college students’ patriotism education,so as to give full play to the educational function of revolutionary cultural relics resources,has important practical significance for improving the effectiveness of the patriotic education of college students in the new era.Taking the revolutionary cultural relics as the starting point,this paper probes into the core issue of the development of revolutionary cultural relics resources in the patriotic education of college students in the new era,and follows the logical main line of "what is development,why and how to develop".First of all,it clarifies the question of "what is development",define the relevant concepts and probes into the internal relationship between college students’ patriotism education and revolutionary cultural relics resources in the new era.Historically analyzes the relevant expositions on cultural heritage made by classical Marxist writers and Communist Party of China leaders,and appropriately draws lessons from the relevant theories of literature,sociology and pedagogy.Secondly,it further clarifies the question of "what is development",from the perspective of system theory,it clarifies the subject,object and method of resource development,and expounds the development value from the content,carrier,environment and effect of college students’ patriotism education.It lays a scientific foundation for the establishment of the whole development system.Thirdly,it expounds the problem of "why to develop",and deeply grasps the predicament of the development of revolutionary cultural relics resources in the patriotism education of college students in the new era from three aspects: the subject of resource development,the object of development and the method of development,so as to further analyze the causes of its predicament.Finally,it expounds "how to develop" and explores the specific countermeasures for the development of revolutionary cultural relics resources in the patriotic education of college students in the new era in view of the existing difficulties in development.It is mainly refined from three aspects: development subject,object and method,in order to promote the connotation development,long-term development and in-depth development of revolutionary cultural relics resources in college students’ patriotism education in the new era.
