Young children are the hope of the motherland,young pioneers are the future successors of the communist cause.The Young pioneers in junior high school are in the stage of rapid development and change in various aspects of physiology and psychology.At the same time,they have multiple identities and assume corresponding roles."Young Pioneers" is the first "political identity" of young children,and also one of the important social roles they play.The young pioneers in junior high school constantly play and contrast their roles in the organization of the Young Pioneers,fulfill their obligations,move towards political socialization,set up lofty revolutionary ideals,improve comprehensive quality and promote all-round development.For many years,the work of Young Pioneers in junior high school has been neglected,and the focus of school team work has been shifted to the construction of the Communist Youth League,which leads to the shrinking of the work of Young Pioneers in junior high school,which has affected the identity awareness and role identification of young pioneers in junior high school.Many middle school students associate Young pioneers with elementary school students,and believe that it is childish for middle school students to wear red scarves.Assuming that there is a gap between the reality of Young pioneers’ role identity and the desirability of their role playing,this study selected young pioneers from two primary schools and three junior high schools in Jincheng City as research objects,and conducted investigation and analysis through questionnaire survey and interview.Through comparison between primary schools and junior high schools,it aims to understand the development and change of young pioneers’ role identity in junior high schools.First of all,from three dimensions of role cognition,role emotion and role behavior,the Young Pioneers Role Identity Questionnaire was compiled and distributed to 700 Young pioneers from two primary schools and three junior high schools in Jincheng City,in an attempt to understand the current status of junior high school Young pioneers role identity.Based on the interviews,the main problems existing in the role identity of junior high school Young pioneers in Jincheng City are as follows: Unclear role cognition,role positioning deviation;The character’s emotion is indifferent,and the sense of glory is decreased;The role behavior is slack,and the role responsibility is weakening.Secondly,after analyzing and summarizing relevant research data,it is found that the factors affecting the role identity of junior high school young pioneers mainly come from the young pioneers themselves,the school,the family and the society.Finally,according to the problems existing in the role identity of junior high school young pioneers and the factors affecting the role identity of junior high school young pioneers,the countermeasures to promote the role identity of young pioneers are put forward: At the level of young pioneers themselves,they should recognize the role identity,clarify the role responsibilities,improve the role expectations,respond to the call of the Young Pioneers organization,actively participate in various activities,and improve their autonomy;At the level of school and the organization of the Young Pioneers,it is necessary to strengthen the external ritual education of the Young pioneers and the pursuit of intrinsic value,carry out the brand activities of the Young Pioneers,strengthen the participation in the activities of the Young pioneers,and the young pioneers counselors should be full-time and specialized,forming a virtuous cycle.At the family level,parents should improve the awareness of the importance and significance of the work of junior high school pioneers,encourage and support their children to participate in the activities of the pioneers;At the social level,social environment should be optimized,social resources should be integrated,and social resources such as community and children’s palace should be rationally utilized.
