Research On The Protection Of Teachers’ Rights And Interests In Private Universities

After decades of development,private higher learning institution have made remarkable progress.Their contributions to the development of higher education in China cannot be ignored.They have become an indispensable part of China ’s higher education system.High-quality teachers are the fundamental guarantee for the development of high-quality private education.Nowadays,private institutions of higher learning have entered a new stage of development,and the protection of teachers ’ rights and interests is prominent.How to protect the legitimate rights and interests of teachers in private colleges and universities to enhance the high-quality permanent evolution of private colleges and universities is an important part of the current reform of private colleges and universities.It is also the core content of this paper.Based on stakeholder theory,principal-agent theory and organizational balance theory,this paper analyzes the protection of teachers ’ rights and interests in R private colleges and universities by means of literature research.Through questionnaires,interviews and other methods,this paper investigates the current situation of the protection of teachers ’ rights and interests in R private higher learning institution,and explores and finds out the main problems existing in the protection of teachers ’ rights and interests in R private colleges and universities.There are four aspects : first,the status of teachers is not high,and the identity is not clear;second,low salaries and insufficient social security;third,the title evaluation is difficult,professional development is limited;fourth,teachers ’ participation in school democratic management is limited.The main reasons are the lack of national top-level design,the imperfect system,the weak governance system and governance ability of private colleges,the low social recognition,the existence of social discrimination and the lack of teachers ’awareness and ability to safeguard their rights.Then it puts forward countermeasures to improve the protection of teachers ’ rights and interests in private colleges and universities from the four levels of state,private colleges and society,universities and teachers,so as to provide reference for improving the protection mechanism of protection 0f teachers’ rights and interests in private higher learning institution in futurity.
