Research On The Ethnic Policy Of The Communist Party Of China In The Early Days Of The Founding Of New China (1949-1956

In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,it was the beginning of the Communist Party of China taking charge of the national political power and dealing with the national ethnic problems.During this period,the CPC formulated and implemented a series of ethnic policies that conformed to the reality of ethnic work in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C.It has formed and consolidated ethnic relations of equality and unity,facilitated the political,economic and cultural transformation of ethnic minority people,and guided people of all ethnic groups onto the road of socialism.A careful study of the party’s ethnic policy in this period will provide historical reference for better promoting the high-quality development of ethnic work with the Chinese-style modernization road in the new era.This paper refers to the compilation of important documents on the Party’s ethnic policy since the founding of the CPC and the founding of the P.R.C,as well as the local Chronicles,literature and historical data of Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia,Tibet,Gansu,Guizhou and other ethnic provinces.In order to sort out and analyze the main contents and practical results of the Party’s ethnic policies in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C,extract and summarize the experience and enlightenment of the Party’s formulation and implementation of ethnic policies in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C,and provide useful reference for promoting the high-quality development of ethnic work in the new era.There are five parts in this thesis.The first is the introduction.Including the research significance of the paper,domestic and foreign research status,etc.The second is the basis of the ethnic policy of the CPC in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C.The third is the main content of the ethnic policy of the CPC in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C.They include the following six points: advocating equality and unity and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of ethnic minorities;Practice regional ethnic autonomy to ensure that the people of all ethnic groups are masters of the country;Take overall consideration and flexible policies to develop the economy of ethnic minorities;Attach importance to ethnic education and prosper ethnic culture and art;Build up minority cadres through general absorption and active training;Uphold freedom of religious belief and guide the independent development of religions.The fourth is the achievements made in implementing the Party’s ethnic policies in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C.The fifth is the experience and enlightenment of the ethnic policy of the CPC in the early days of the founding of the P.R.C.
