The report of the 20th Party Congress pointed out that the central task of the CPC from now on is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups to build a strong socialist modern state,achieve the second century goal,and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese modernization.China’s modernization exploration from1978 to 2012 has laid a solid theoretical and material foundation for entering the new era and accomplishing the goal of basic modernization by 2035.Modernization is a process of rapid change from traditional to modern society,representing a more progressive and advanced state of society,a common goal of development for all countries in modern society,and is expansive,comprehensive,revolutionary and contemporary in nature.From 1978 to 2012,the Chinese Communist Party has explored the path of Chinese modernization,from "two civilizations" to "three civilizations".From 1978 to 2012,the CPC’s exploration of the Chinese modernization path has gone through a process of continuous improvement and development from "two civilizations" to "three civilizations" and then to "four in one".Through the successive struggles of several generations of Chinese Communists,China has achieved great achievements in economic development,political system improvement,cultural pluralism and social construction modernization.Three major lessons can be drawn from these achievements: Firstly,adherence to the leadership of the Party.Secondly,adherence to progressive reform.Third,adherence to peaceful development.
