Education is the great plan of the country and the Party.Our Party has always attached great importance to vocational education.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized the implementation of the strategy of revitalizing the country through science and education,proposed the coordinated innovation of vocational education,higher education,and continuing education,promoted the integration of vocational education,industry and education,science and education,and optimized the positioning of vocational education types.Higher vocational education is facing the best development opportunity in history.Public vocational colleges in China not only have the characteristics of administrative hierarchy,but also have the looseness of academic organization.Middle level administrative cadres in public vocational colleges play a connecting role in the organization,presenting the dual characteristics of administrative managers and academic and technical leaders.Fully leveraging the leadership of middle level administrative cadres plays a crucial role in the high-quality development of higher vocational education.This article uses methods such as expert interviews,questionnaire surveys,and statistical analysis to study 158 middle-level administrative cadres in public vocational colleges in Guangxi region.It is concluded that the dimensions of leadership of middle-level administrative cadres in Guangxi public vocational colleges include leadership influence,leadership control,leadership decision-making ability,and situational management ability.There are three factors that affect the leadership of middle-level administrative cadres in Guangxi public vocational colleges,namely leaders Organizational context and being led,and refining 12 specific influencing indicators,including personality psychology,moral qualities,management ability,emotional intelligence factors,knowledge and talent,educational philosophy,management environment,development space,leadership behavior,being led’s knowledge and talent,work experience,and comprehension and execution ability.In the study,it was found that the three factors influencing leadership have a positive impact on the four dimensions of leadership,and it was found that the most influential factors among the 12 indicators are the emotional intelligence of the leader,the work experience of the leader,and the leadership behavior factors in the organizational environment.Finally,combining research interviews and data analysis,this article analyzes the problems in improving the leadership of middle-level administrative cadres in Guangxi public vocational colleges and proposes certain policy recommendations. |
