The coordinated development of the "Five Modernizations" is an inherent requirement of social development that integrates industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization, informatization, and greening. It requires the formation of a process of mutual promotion and promotion in social development,in order to achieve "1+1+1+1>5";Urban resilience refers to the ability of a city to respond to a series of uncertain events such as natural disasters, extreme weather, and public emergencies, aiming to restore its original characteristics and functions after the event occurs. The improvement of its resilience level plays an important role in preventing risks and resisting disasters.Currently, with the completion of the goals and tasks of the 13 th Five Year Plan,China’s social and economic development has entered a new era. However,at the same time, the issue of regional coordinated and sustainable development is also significant, such as the deterioration of the ecological environment, tense human-land relations, poor level of agricultural modernization, low quality of information technology, low quality of urbanization, backward industrialization, and low level of urban resilience, which are still the "major challenges" of regional development. In order to implement regional coordinated and sustainable development, the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to deeply promote the strategy of regional coordinated development, build a regional economic layout and land spatial system with complementary advantages and highquality development, and promote regional coordinated and sustainable development. As a border province in southwestern China,Yunnan Province is facing problems such as low gross domestic product, severe brain drain, weak infrastructure construction, deteriorating ecological environment, contradictions in human land relations, and weak risk resistance, which seriously hinder the process of social development. Therefore, studying the current situation of "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience development in Yunnan Province,as well as the impact and response relationship between the two,is particularly important for promoting regional coordinated development. This study mainly applies the theories of sustainable development, coordinated development, vulnerability, bidirectional effects, and complex adaptive systems.Based on a thorough review of relevant research results at home and abroad,it sorts out the relationship between "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience.By designating 16 prefectures and cities in Yunnan Province as research objects and selecting 2010,2015,and 2020 as research periods, and based on the principles of indicator selection and reference to existing research results,an evaluation framework for the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and the level of urban resilience development in Yunnan Province is constructed.Based on this, the entropy weight TOPSIS model is used to explore the current status of its "Five Modernizations" and urban resilience development level, and the coupling coordination degree model is used to measure the degree of coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and attempt to characterize its spatiotemporal evolution characteristics.Furthermore, based on Pearson correlation analysis,a geographic detector model was used to explore the impact and response of the coordinated development of the "Five Modernizations" in Yunnan Province on urban resilience. Finally, based on its spatiotemporal evolution characteristics and the impact and response between the two, effective future development suggestions for the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and urban resilience development in Yunnan Province are proposed,in order to provide theoretical significance and practical value for promoting the coordinated development of the "Five Modernizations" in Yunnan Province and improving the level of urban resilience. This study can be divided into seven major parts:The first chapter is an introduction.Mainly explain the background of the current research institute, the theoretical and practical significance of its research, and comprehensively and clearly grasp the content of this study, while drawing its technical roadmap.Chapter 2 is a literature review and theoretical basis.Use literature analysis to review and sort out relevant research results on "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience both internationally and domestically, and understand and grasp the current research status and progress.By defining the concepts of "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience,we aim to bridge the relationship between "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience. At the same time, summarize relevant research theories to provide a solid theoretical foundation for promoting the progress of this study.Chapter 3 discusses the selection, construction, and model measurement methods of data sources, indicator systems, and models. The main data sources of the article were clearly explained, and based on the principles of constructing the indicator system and referring to existing relevant research results, combined with the actual situation of Yunnan Province, the evaluation framework for the "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience development level was established. In addition, based on the research content, purpose, current data obtained, and established evaluation framework, select models and methods that are in line with the current research.Chapter 4 is an analysis of the spatiotemporal characteristics of the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and the level of urban resilience development in Yunnan Province.Based on the indicator evaluation framework constructed in Chapter 3 of this study, the entropy weight TOPSIS model is used to quantitatively measure the level of "Five Modernizations" and urban resilience development in Yunnan Province, and the degree of coordinated development of "Five Modernizations" is explored through a coupling coordination degree model. Finally, the obtained results were visualized and analyzed using Arcgis10.3 to demonstrate the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and the level of urban resilience development in Yunnan Province, and to explore the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of their development levels from a geographical perspective.Chapter 5 explores the two-way relationship between the coordinated development of the "Five Modernizations" and urban resilience in Yunnan Province. This chapter is mainly based on the analysis of the results of measuring the coordinated development of the "Five Modernizations" and urban resilience in Yunnan Province in Chapter 4.With the help of the geographic detector model, the single factor and double factor interaction measurement modules in the model are selected to explore the relationship between the coordinated development of the "Five Modernizations" and urban resilience, and the influencing factors between them are summarized and analyzed.Chapter 6 is the strategy for coordinating the "Five Modernizations" and enhancing urban resilience development in Yunnan Province.Through the analysis of the current situation of the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and the level of urban resilience development,as well as the relationship between the two,in Chapters4 and 5 of this study, targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and the improvement of urban resilience development level in Yunnan Province are proposed from two levels: the coordination of the "Five Modernizations" and the development of urban resilience.Chapter 7 is the conclusion and outlook. It mainly summarizes the core conclusions of "Five Modernizations" coordination and urban resilience development. At the same time, analyze the potential innovations in this study, and explore the current shortcomings of the study, while considering and proposing the next steps of research work.
