| Road communication has gradually occupied a place in the field of communication in recent years.According to James Carey, the transmission view of communication regards communication as the transmission of information. In this sense, the road should undoubtedly be an important field of communication research. The research on roads is called road studies by current communication researchers, and the research focuses on: research on roads as spatial attachments, research on the image and meaning construction of roads themselves. However, there is still a lack of research on roads being regarded as the role of media.Theoretical achievements in the field of communication have not yet been fully applied to road studies, and the research on how roads affect regional modernization is still in the preliminary exploration. The theory of media ecology emphasizes the media as ecology, which has a profound impact on the shaping and influence of "people" in the media ecology. This theory is directly related to reflections on social and cultural development, ecological crisis, and technological crisis, and is a more thorough and systematic research method for roads.Through field observation and in-depth interviews on selected cases, this paper focuses on the "road" of P Town, takes the main road in the town as a research case, combined with the results of sociology and road studies, and uses the research field of media ecology that is deeply related to roads in communication to analyze the roads of specific cases.Analyze the chaos, and based on this, explore the factors behind it and the development direction of road modernization. This study will seek the combination of anthropology and communication, and add the observation of rural governance to explore a research result with practical significance.By analyzing the causes of the "chaotic" phenomenon of the main road in P Town and the shaping of regional development by the formation of "chaos tradition".Furthermore,it explores the deep impact of the interweaving and overlapping of roads as media, mass media and social media on local traffic governance. The study found that the formation of chaos on the main road of P Town is highly related to surrounding railways, natural conditions, economic structure, cultural composition and other factors. These factors directly or indirectly shape the ecological conditions of roads in the region as a medium, and react to social development, and then rooted in the consciousness of the people in the region, becoming a chaotic "tradition".To understand the formation of this "tradition",It is the outlet to explore the construction of modern road order,it is the foothold of this study. |
