Study On The Participation Of The Communist Youth League In Social Governance In X City

At present,China is at a critical stage of comprehensively deepening reform,and Chinese society is undergoing unprecedented and all-round changes.The changes of the times cause the instability of young people’s ideas and the uncertainty of their needs,which makes it increasingly difficult to unite,guide and serve the young people.The intensification of social changes calls for the optimization of social governance.As the most powerful element in the new era,young people have advantages in age,energy,intelligence and other aspects,and are an effective force to participate in social governance.In China’s political system,neither the various organs of the Party nor the ministries and commissions of the government have public affairs departments that specialize in youth work.The Communist Youth League of China is a mass organization of outstanding young people in China.From the new democratic revolution to the socialist construction,the Communist Youth League of China has always been responsible for gathering and uniting young people for the Party and consolidating the mass base of the Party’s youth.At the same time,it has also shared some administrative functions for the government to serve the youth and safeguard their rights and interests.With the reform of the administrative system and the modernization of China’s social governance,the government will transfer more administrative functions to the market,non-governmental organizations and other diversified entities.On the one hand,this brings an opportunity for the Communist Youth League of China to participate in social governance;on the other hand,it also intensifies the competition of other subjects such as social organizations.This study uses SWOT analysis to comb and elaborate the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the Communist Youth League’s participation in social governance.Then,taking X City of Jiangsu Province as an example,it comprehensively uses literature research,interview method,case analysis and other research methods to analyze the specific practice of the Communist Youth League’s participation in social governance,the existing problems and the causes of the problems.Finally,based on the experience of the reform of the Communist Youth League and the author’s own work practice,the thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions such as strengthening the guidance of political construction,consolidating the organizational foundation,improving the service efficiency and optimizing the working mechanism,in order to provide reference for related research.
