Hunan Observation Daily Research

During the Anti Japanese War,Hunan Observation Daily was a revolutionary newspaper founded under the direct leadership of the local party organization of CPC in CPC.It was later officially announced as the party newspaper of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee.It played an important role in promoting the cultural war of resistance in Hunan and even the whole country,spreading Marxist ideas,and publicizing the policies and propositions of the Communist Party of China.On the basis of combing relevant materials and absorbing the excellent research achievements of predecessors,the core ideas and revolutionary propositions of Hunan Observation Daily during the Anti Japanese War were excavated and explored.First of all,the Observation Daily was founded to unite the cultural anti Japanese forces in Hunan since the beginning of the full-scale outbreak of the Anti Japanese War.After the "Wenxi Fire" in Changsha,the situation became increasingly tense and it moved to Shaoyang.Finally,due to a large number of reports on the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the CPC,it exposed its political position and was forced to shut down.In the process of historical development,it has always kept close contact with the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee,and is also one of the newspapers with greater influence that was directly led by the local party organization of CPC in Hunan during the Anti Japanese War;Secondly,the Observation Daily always paid attention to the development of the Hunan People’s War of Resistance and National Salvation Movement in the process of publicity,and mobilized the whole people to fight the war from the economic,political,cultural and other aspects.On the basis of the war reports,the Observation Daily also published a large number of articles on the analysis and discussion of the war situation,which strengthened the people’s belief in victory in the War of Resistance.In addition to playing its role as a news media,the members of Observer Daily also actively participate in the work of other cultural salvation groups led by the CPC in Hunan;Thirdly,as the party newspaper of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee,Observation Daily has fully played its own party newspaper attribute.It has played an important role in publicizing Marxism Leninism,CPC’s political propositions and direct propaganda and reporting on the CPC,and has improved the influence of the CPC on the people in Hunan.Finally,the Observation Daily fully fulfilled its historical responsibility as a party newspaper and completed its historical mission.However,because of the times,it still has its historical limitations.
