A Study On The Party’s Ideological And Political Education For Intellectuals During The Period Of National Economic Recovery

At the beginning of the founding of New China,the situation at home and abroad was complicated and severe.In order to safeguard the achievements of the Party and the people,the whole country,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,began to devote itself to the economic construction of the country.The restoration of economic construction and the consolidation of the new regime made the proper handling of the intellectuals issue a key part of it.The ideological and cultural fields were strongly affected by the reactions caused by social changes,and intellectuals,as the main body of the cultural and ideological field,needed to face and accept the new situation and new tasks.In order to promote intellectuals to quickly adapt to the new situation and accept new tasks,set up new goals for their future work and life,better mobilize intellectuals to participate in national construction,and increase their enthusiasm and creativity in serving the people.On the basis of inheriting the theory of intellectuals from classic Marxist writers and Mao Zedong’s theory of ideological and political education for intellectuals,the CPC has carried out fruitful ideological and political education for intellectuals,taking into account the actual situation of this group of intellectuals,and has carried out education on patriotism and internationalism,class education and The main contents of these contents are the education on patriotism and internationalism,class education and outlook on life,and education on Marxist theory.In the process of propaganda and education of these contents,the CPC used various ideological and political education methods,including theoretical education based on training courses and seminars,practical education based on land reform and anti-American aid to the Korean people,and education by example based on reports and lectures,taking into account the characteristics of the intellectuals at that time.The ideological and political education that combines the intellectuals’ own characteristics and is targeted not only helps to raise their theoretical awareness,but also promotes the propagation and education of Marxist theory.It is of great importance to raise the enthusiasm and confidence of intellectuals to participate in the construction of the new China and to promote the rapid recovery and development of the national economy.The period of national economic recovery is an important period in the history of ideological and political education for intellectuals in China.This paper summarizes its experience against the background of this period of national economic recovery and insists on combining ideological and political education for intellectuals closely with the central task of the Party and the legitimate interests of intellectuals in the process of carrying out ideological and political education for intellectuals in the new era,and insists on the long-term Marxist theory Systematic study of Marxist theory is closely combined with short-term key training of intellectuals,and external propaganda and education of Marxist theory is closely combined with internal personal self-awareness of intellectuals.The current ideological and political work of intellectuals should be guided by the socialist core value system,effectively strengthen the ideological and political education of intellectuals,create a social atmosphere of respecting knowledge and talents,insist on advancing with the times,promote the innovation of ideological and political education methods of intellectuals in the new era,implement reasonable intellectual policies,and fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of intellectuals.
