Marx’s Thought Of Free Time And Its Contemporary Values

Free time,namely the real time of human life,is the realistic basis for the realization of human freedom.It is precisely the time that urges people to liberate themselves from the kingdom of necessity and reach the kingdom of freedom.Therefore,whether people can fully enjoy free time and make reasonable use of free time is the key to people to obtain free liberation and build a better life.Focusing on Marx’s free time thought,this paper tries to reveal the specific meaning of Marx’s leisure time thought,and to explain the theoretical and practical importance of Marx’s thinking about leisure time.The main discussion in this paper is on the following four aspects:The first part clarifies that Marx’s thought of free time is the product of creative transformation after absorbing the essence of relevant time thought in the history of philosophy,and explains Marx’s concept of free time.Through the abandonment of the traditional western concept of time,Marx started from the perspective of social and history,and produced independent thinking on the problem of freedom and time.It was in this process that Marx’s free time concept was gradually formed.Free time is the time used to develop and realize man’s free personality.It is not only Marx’s exploration of the possibility of freedom,but also the direction of human freedom and the development of the whole.The second part is a textual combing of Marx’s thoughts on free time.Marx’s free time thought,is Marx’s criticism of the old world,in the process of looking for the new world,gradually established and improve,mainly can be divided into the context of natural philosophy of free time,alienation of free time,free time in the context of historical materialism and political economics in the context of free time.The third part explain the true connotation of Marx’s thought of free time.Marx explained the significance of the realization of free time for all members of society and revealed the alienation of human existence and the loss of free time caused by the time of capital using surplus labor under capitalist production mode.The main contents of Marx’s thought about leisure time are explained from the perspective of historical materialism and criticism of political economy.Marx’s free time thought mainly includes two dimensions:value and reality.Free time is the development scale of real wealth,which provides necessary conditions for the complete and free development of human beings.Saving labor time can increase the free time of the whole society,but to enable every member of society to fully enjoy the free time,we can only realize the communist society.The fourth part,the theoretical and practical importance of Marx’s leisure thinking are discussed.Real freedom can only be achieved when people fully enjoy and make reasonable use of their free time.Today,Marx’s thought of free time is still flashing with dazzling light,which can help us establish the correct concept of time,and provide theoretical guidance for us to firmly advance along the socialist road,expose the western consumerism scam,and improve people’s ideological awareness and life domain.
