The Research Of Marx’s Thought Of Free Time

Time is the natural measure of man’s life and development space. All kinds of activities are proceeding in the range of time, including human labor. Time is related to human survival, therefore, has very important significance. With the development of social productivity, we have more free time, and some problems related to free time also appeared,such as free time alienation, leisure misunderstanding. It is a big subject in today’s society needing to be studied. It uses Marx’s thought of free time as a guide, to guide people to engage in more advanced free time activities, rationally for leisure, to make best of free time to promote the all-round development of human beings.The article is divided into four parts in the content.The first part: introduction. Introduce Marx’s thought of free time this selected reason about the topic, the research significance, research status and research methods.The second part: introduce the original idea of Marx’s thought of free time. Marx’s concept of free, labor and time views is the precondition of the idea of “free time”. On the basis of understanding the meaning of free time, it explores the free time which has the contradiction under the condition of capitalism. In the future society, free time and work time will be together. Then it discusses the philosophical implication of free time, including the free essence of the free time and the free time promoting the generation of “human being”.The third part: the expansion of Marx’s thought of free time. Baudrillard proposed the theory of consumer society. In the consumer society, consumption control the whole society, and consumption alienation deepens the alienation of free time. Then this paper discusses three aspects: productive labor of free time, consumption alienation of free time, the root of alienation of free time.The forth part: contemporary Marxist ideology of free time. It focuses on free time and the coming leisure society, how to avoid leisure misunderstanding and realize ideal leisure life.
