Employment is a practical way for individuals to realize their own values,an important measure of the effectiveness of higher education, and employment is also the largest livelihood.Under the triple pressure of the expansion of college graduates, the contraction of economic market demand and the COVID-19,the competition in the employment market is very fierce.Active job seeking behavior is an important guarantee for the success of college students in job seeking. This study takes college students who are seeking jobs or who have successfully applied for jobs as the research object.First,it combs the literature to explore the influence mechanism of college students’ job-seeking behavior from the perspectives of employment information capital and career decision-making self-efficacy,and constructs theoretical assumptions. Then, through questionnaires and interviews,it understands the current situation of college students’ job-seeking information capital, career decision-making self-efficacy,and job-seeking behavior, and tests the hypothesis model,Finally, according to the research results, suggestions are put forward to help college students improve their job-seeking behavior from the perspective of students’ personal development, school career guidance and social employment services. The research results have reference significance for understanding the generation mechanism of college students’ job-seeking behavior, optimizing college students’ employment guidance and promoting college students’ job-seeking behavior.Under the guidance of information capital theory,self-efficacy theory and social cognitive career theory, the research measures information capital from the four dimensions of information access network, mainstream information access channel,non-mainstream information access channel and information utility perception, and measures career decision-making self-efficacy from the five dimensions of self-evaluation,information collection, goal selection, planning and problem solving. The college students’ job-seeking behavior was observed from two aspects, namely, the preparatory job-seeking behavior and the actual jobseeking behavior. The research takes 2021 and 2022 college graduates who are looking for jobs or have successfully applied for jobs as the research object, and uses questionnaire and interview methods to conduct in-depth analysis of the relationship between information capital, career decision-making self-efficacy and college students’ job-seeking behavior, mainly discussing the following five questions:(1)What is the current situation of college students’ job-seeking variables?(2)Is there any correlation between the main variables?(3)Does information capital and career decision-making self-efficacy affect college students’ job-seeking behavior?(4)Is career decision-making self-efficacy a mediator?(5)Does gender, discipline category, urbanrural type, university type and family socio-economic and cultural status play a regulatory role? The research used SPSS26.0 and AMOS24.0 to make descriptive statistics, difference analysis and correlation analysis on college students’ information capital, career decision-making self-efficacy and job-seeking behavior, and conducted regression analysis, intermediary test and adjustment test on the relationship between the three, and conducted interviews with 8 college students to verify and explain the interaction mechanism among the three. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)College students’ information capital, career decisionmaking self-efficacy and job-seeking behavior are generally good, but need to be further improved.(2)College students’ job-seeking behavior is not only related to information capital and career decision-making self-efficacy,but also related to the change of combination types of information capital and career decisionmaking self-efficacy.The type of "high information capital-high career decision-making self-efficacy" college students’ job-seeking behavior is the most positive.(3)Information capital and career decisionmaking self-efficacy have a positive impact on college students’ job-seeking behavior. The influence coefficients of information capital and career decision-making self-efficacy are 0.35 and 0.45。(4)College students’ career decision-making self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between information capital and job-seeking behavior, and the intermediary effect of career decision-making self-efficacy accounts for 69.39%of the total effect.(5)Gender and discipline category play a regulatory role in the second half of the mediation path of career decision-making self-efficacy,while discipline type, urban and rural type and university type play a regulatory role in the direct impact of information capital on job hunting behavior.(6)The effect of information capital on career decision-making self-efficacy and job-seeking behavior is affected by the fluency of information transmission, the integration of information transmission, the quality of information itself and the ability of college students to use information.Career decision-making self-efficacy restricts the occurrence, frequency and stability of job-seeking behavior. There is a wooden barrel effect in the process of career decision-making self-efficacy on job-seeking behavior. It can be seen from the research conclusion that both information capital and career decision-making self-efficacy of college students have a significant positive impact on job-seeking behavior, and career decision-making self-efficacy plays an important intermediary role between information capital and jobseeking behavior. However, under the influence of personal social background and employment environment, the accumulation of college students’ information capital for job-seeking is hindered, and the sense of selfefficacy of career decision-making is limited, which is not conducive to improving the enthusiasm of college students’ job-seeking behavior. The research proposes that:(1)college students should collect information from multiple channels and cultivate their ability to perceive personal information;Make multi-dimensional job preparation to improve career decision-making self-efficacy;Give full play to subjective initiative and regulate their job-seeking behavior.(2)Colleges and universities should improve the curriculum and optimize the effect of vocational education;Enrich service means and improve the quality of employment;Provide psychological consultation and strengthen humanistic care on campus.(3)At the social level, the information release platform should strictly control the quality of information, employers should strengthen communication with universities, and government departments should deepen policy support and supervision.
